I AM THANKFUL……Thank you, to ALL those people in my life who changed it for the better….by a word…a gift…an example, etc. I want to reach out to you on this very special day, to express my thanks for reading this just about every day….for all your lovely comments….for your kindness and support. Thanksgiving is a day to reflect and to really give thanks, from the bottom of our hearts, for so many special things….but especially for being blessed to live in Key West and to be surrounded by so many beautiful, caring and giving people! I give thanks for my many readers. This is a community like NO other! God bless you all!

 

JOY HAWKINS IS THANKFUL…..”to have Becky Barta in town directing “Forbidden Broadway” at the Red Barn! She is a multi-talented lady, a Broadway pro who has appeared in Les Mis and Forbidden Broadway, as well as theatres throughout the country. Becky and I have appeared together frequently as Patsy & Louise in “Always…Patsy Cline”…and I am thankful that my buddy Becky was able to come to Key West and bring her expertise to the Red Barn’s first show. I am also thankful that Becky will be singing in the Barn’s fundraiser, “Made in Key West” on Dec. 1,2,&3.”

 

WELCOME BACK HOME TO KW, DEBRA & PATRICK….. AT LATEDA ON 11/24……We are ALL very thankful that Key West’s darlings, DEBRA & PATRICK will be back performing in the By George Bar at 8:30 PM on Nov. 24, 25, & 26!!!! AQUA IDOL ON TUESDAY….This past Tuesday, Aqua Nightclub was standing room only to see one of Key West’s bestest shows!!!!!! Our 14 contestants wowed the crowd with super songs and it was a joy to behold! Sadly, Mark Siters, was eliminated on Tuesday. ROB O’NEAL UPDATE……As you know by now, photo-journalist and very special fellow, Rob O’Neal, was in a serious accident this week. He was on his scooter and was hit by a rental car. Currently, he is in Ryder Trauma Center in Miami being treated for broken ankle, hip & ribs, and compound fractures of his tibia and fibia. BOBBY NESBITT OFF TO PORTUGAL!!!….While most of us are dining and breaking bread with family and friends on Thanksgiving, Bobby Nesbitt will be leaving for his gig heading for Madeira, Portugal where he will perform on the Mariner, a Regent Cruise Line Ship. One of the greatest things about a Sagittarian is their irrepressible optimism. They are blessed with the conviction that everything will work out for the best. They have a positive, upbeat disposition, which is one of their strengths. It has helped them to weather many a storm.
