HELP KEY WEST HIGH SCHOOL WITH OPERATION GRADUATION…. Thus far $5,000 has been collected for Operation Graduation for the senior class…an all night event providing a safe, alcohol & drug free celebration….a night of music, dancing, movies, games, fun and food. Everyone is asked to help, as it takes a great effort to make this happen. However….it takes $20,000 for this event to be put on. If the money isn’t raise the event will be cancelled. Perhaps if your org wants to do something on behalf of the kids, you can put on a fundraiser. LAURIE BREAKWELL SHOW MINI REVIEW… We had the great pleasure of seeing Laurie’s 10 pm show on April 1st at the Tennessee Williams Cabaret Theatre…The show, entitled, ‘Cleavage in the Night-Laurie Breakwell Exposed’ featured her 2man back-up group of Nathan Gay and James Carter….David Troy Francis was the musical director/pianist, plus Dave Parker on drums, and Joe Dallas, bass. Laurie, showing super comedic flare and that marvelous voice, took us on a musical journey…..great fun songs plus those sad ballads that I love so much! She did so great with the show, I think she should be named, Laurie Greatwell! Congrats Laurie!

MIDDLE SCHOOL OVERNIGHT CAMPOUT ON APRIL 9TH….. The KW Botanical Gardens is hosting a Middle School Overnight Campout on 4/9 at 6 pm to April 10th at 9 am. This is a Free program open to all 6th thru 8th graders. Students will become one with nature as they develop camping and leadership skills while participating in teambuilding activities.
