TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY, MAY 24 & 25, 2011, in KEY WEST WITH LYNDA!!!!

TERRI WHITE SHINES IN FOLLIES!!!!! We are back from our whirlwind, but very full, 4 days in Washington D.C. What an exciting time we had!….. the high light being, having the opportunity to be at opening night of Stephen Sondheim’s FOLLIES at The Kennedy Center on May 21! What a wonderful and memorable evening it was! Our primary reason for going was to see our dear friend, Broadway star, TERRI WHITE, who played the part of Stella Deems in the show. A Key West contingent including Bunnie Smith, Jack Paul, Kate Miano, Ron Maranian, Bill Cartledge, Jim Hall, Abby Moore, Diane May, and of course, Bob and I, was there to see TERRI ‘steal the show’ right from under the likes of Bernadette Peters, Elaine Paige, Jan Maxwell, Regine, and Linda Lavin! Terri was superb, and her big production number brought down the house, and the audience went wild after it was over…The review in the Washington Post featured a fabulous color photo with TERRI smack dab in the middle and all the other stars flanking her! It was a spectacular moment for all us TERRI WHITE Fans for sure! The whole show was magical….amazing sets, gorgeous costumes, and all those fantastic STARS! We all got to attend the Cast Party afterward and got to meet Bernadette, Elaine, Regine, Linda Lavin, and many others…..Gosh! We’re all on first-name basis now, after all that ‘hob-nobbing!’!!!! For Thankful Thursday, I will be adding some more ‘thoughts’ about our Washington extravaganza!!!!!

THANKFUL THURSDAY COMING UP…. PLEASE forward me those special times, moments, persons, feelings, etc. that fill your hearts with joy and for which you are thankful…. So I can print them this coming Thursday! Send to me at kwlynda@bellsouth.net.
