And…what are you thankful for today? I am thankful for very thoughtful Bert Whitt & Dennis Beaver, sending us a photograph of a Rose Cottage, they snapped while they were in Ireland! I am thankful for Bobby Nesbitt and his wonderful singing voice…always playing your fave songs, and always with a kind an generous heart! I am thankful for all the contestants who are participating in Aqua Idol for the Waterfront Playhouse. They are giving their all and are making Tuesdays in Key West so very very special and memorable! I am thankful that the oil spill has not yet reached the Keys…and I hope and pray that it never does! Please, let me know who you are thankful for and I will try and print some of the best Thankful Thursday messages!

The producers of this News Show will be shooting in Key West today for a special segment on the “passion” of the FLA Keys volunteers in their efforts to protect the Keys environment from potential oil spill impacts. They plan to make it clear to the masses, that the KEYS are thriving, are prepared, and continue to enjoy fishing, wildlife adventures, snorkling, etc. I am encouraging anyone who is HAZMAT or NIMS certified, especially, to be at the Florida Keys Community College Tennessee Williams Theatre, at 5901 College Rd., to show your support. Try to be there by 6:45 PM! This story will air Monday night on CBS News with Katie Couric and Steve Hartman.
