HERITAGE HOUSE…
…I can say I was a part of History today! I went for the final day of Guided Tours through The lovely and historic Heritage House on Caroline St. Once owned by the dynamic Porter Family, they were personal friends of Gloria Swanson, the Hemingways, actors and entertainers galore, and of course famous writers, like Robert Frost, who was a frequent visitor of the Porters. Our guide was excellent, and she expressed a sadness and regret that it was all ending! The house has been sold and rumor is that the person who purchased it plans to make it his home. It is a real treasure and truly a gracious residence…if only the walls could speak!
HOW SWEET IT IS…
…Enjoyed this wonderful show at The San Carlos Institute last night! The beautiful Carmen Rodriguez and the handsome, John Wells sang songs made famous and popular by Linda Rondstadt and James Taylor…..They were sensational! Great music by David Troy Francis, Skipper Kripitz, Tim McAlpine, and George Halloran….and Marjorie Paul-Shook and Laurie Breakwell were the dynamic “backup singers”…..The crowd loved it! Sure am looking forward to that time when Marjorie does her own show!!!!
Happy April 18th Birthday to The KEYS Piano Bar owner, CHIP ALLEN!!!!
Love to YOU…and Remember…
Sharing is sometimes more demanding than giving!
