….As you may be reading this Bob and I are heading back to Key West! This is what I refer to as my “Birthday Week Interlude”…..historically, these last seven or so years, we have been returning to KW to celebrate my 39th Birthday! (I learned that from Jack Benny!) We will only be in town for ten days, but we sure look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying every single moment we are there! So..see you soon!
SOUTHERNMOST CAR CLUB EVENT…
The monthly SHOW & SHINE will be held at Sugarloaf Lodge from Noon until 4 PM. The Lodge is located at MM17. Lots of spiffy cars, vintage and classic…custom and street rod autos, of all years and makes. Cars, trucks, cycles….all cool!!! Prizes….50/50 raffle…food….music…fun for all! On July 27th, the Impromptu Concert will host a Summerfest Special! This is a wonderful event…8 PM at St. Paul’s….This will be the 18 member Mont Blanc Chamber Orchestra from France….Music Lovers will find this an unforgettable evening…only $20 at the door…those under 19 are Free. SOUP FESTIVAL COMING UP AT COLOMBIAN GRACE RESTAURANT…
This Jewel of a Restaurant at 223 Petronia St., is hosting a very special event. On July 22, 23, and 24th, they will be introducing world-famous Colombian Soups and desserts…homemade and delicious! There will be a fixed menu for two people that includes 3 different soups and 3 desserts for $35. There will be a one drink purchase per person required. On Thurs., 7/22, the hours are 6 to 9 PM, with free Sangria tasting at the door during Walk on Petronia Night….Friday, 7/23 and Sat., 7/24, hours are 9 AM till 2 PM and 6 PM until 9 PM. Owner, Zulma Segura, is bringing in a Colombian Master Chef from Miami to make these unique soups and desserts.

THE STUDIOS HAS A REQUEST…
The annual ONE NIGHT STAND will be held on Aug. 7th at The Studios at 600 White St…..They are in need of volunteers to act as artist assistants, stage managers, costume and props people, and for other jobs. Helpers get Free admission to the event. Bartender or usher volunteers only have to work in the evening…but some will be needed all day long.
