WORKSHOP ON TRUMAN WATERFRONT PARCEL…
From 9 AM until Noon…Meet at the Douglass Gym, at 111 Olivia St. This is a very important and informative meeting to discuss the 6.6 acre area on the Truman Waterfront, and the possibilities of its use. Your input is necessary and vital. Bring ideas and thoughts and come with an open mind. We all want the best interests of Key West and its local residents to be considered!
WATERSLIDES AT TROPICAL FOREST & BOTANIC GARDENS..
This will be a rare chance to experience an event like this in Key West! The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanic Gardens, invites you and your children to enjoy 4 Giant Waterslides on the Grounds of this lovely oasis. Called the Great Seagrass Show and Waterslide Park, this event begins at 10 AM. Each slide will thrill and delight as you land in a splash pool at the bottom.
One slide is 22 feet high and 56 feet long! There will also be crafts, learning about the coral reefs, with special presentations to interest all. At 1:00 there will be a Sea Creature Bingo with competition between families and fabulous prizes to win! So have a splish-splashing good time!!!!

27th Annual Red Ribbon Bed Race to benefit AIDS Help…….Beds race down Duval, from Fleming St. till The Hog’s Breath Saloon….This is a HOOT…the most fun you will have in bed with your clothes on! Line up and Bed Check is at 2 PM….Parade of Beds at 3 PM….Race begins at 3:30 PM!!!!
At 5 PM, there is a Post Bed Race Party and Award Ceremony at The Hog’s Breath, 400 Front St.
FIDDLER’S CONTEST…
…at the Green Parrot….2 until 7:00 PM….Time to hear some of the Best Fiddlers ever, in this unique competition! One time you can Fiddle Around and get away with it! This is one of those “Don’t Miss” events during the Conch Republic Week!

He has wonderful songs to sing and he delivers them with joy and affection for all the colorful characters he has written about! TERRI WHITE AT THE WATERFRONT…
…If you were at the Waterfront Playhouse to see and hear TERRI WHITE, you experienced something very wonderful and special! She played to a FULL house, and everyone thrilled to her every song! It is an evening we will long remember and hold dear to our hearts! She filled our world with so many marvelous songs..I believe there were 32 in all…and one was more wonderful than the next! After the show, the music continued at The KEYS Piano Bar, where hors d’oeuvres were passed and everyone had the best of times. It was truly sensational to have Terri White and Donna Barnett back in Key West, and we are elated with their success in New York City!
