END OF PRIDE FEST WEEK…..
….but not with the fact that each of us should be proud of the who that we are! We are all perfect in our own way, and that is what makes Key West the unique and wonderful place that it is! It is not a black and white world, but a technicolor one….and we, who have discovered this place, have stumbled onto something very very magical! What joy it was to watch the Pride Parade yesterday afternoon, and to see all those familiar beautiful faces! It was a great week of activities and we go forward being reinforced with being ONE HUMAN FAMILY!!!!!

…presents Randy Thompson as the diva dueling-bartender, using Song Duels as his weapon of choice! Tonight, it’s The Crizzby Quartet, with Skipper being joined by Chris Burchard (guitar), Rob DiStaci (vocals and keyboard), and Lonnie Jacobson (bass). Skippo is on the drums, natch! It will be a great night of Brazilian, jazz, funk, fusion, etc.

….Terri White, a favorite of our at The KEYS piano bar, went on to star in FINIAN’S RAINBOW at the St. James Theatre in NYC, garnering rave reviews and bringing down the house every night! She is now appearing at Matron Mama Morton in CHICAGO, in NYC, at the Ambassador Theatre, 321 W. 44 St. Good friends Harrell Odom, Barry, Cook, Bill Cartledge and Jim Hall, recently had the pleasure of seeing Terri’s performance and they all said she was the BEST part of the whole show!!! …that Terri and Donna Barnett’s baby grandson, George Eggers, is no longer in the hospital, where he spent the first 4 weeks of his life! He is back at home with his proud and exhausted parents, Stacie and Rob Eggers and his sisters who are enjoying him to no end! Donations to his Fund can also be made to him at that address….as they face overwhelming medical bills from George’s unexpected lengthy stay in the hospital that insurance does not cover. HOWEVER, I checked www.keystix.com, and saw that on Monday, Jan 10th, there are still 12 Table Seats available…4 each at Tables 19, 20 and 21. And on March 14th, there are still 13 Table Seats available…..2 at #11…1 at #19….2 at #16….4 at #20 and 4 at # 21. And, there are General Seats available on those dates too.
