LOIS KLINE UPDATE……The condition of our precious friend, Lois Kline,is failing. Diagnosed with cancer, awhile back, Lois had chosen to forgo any medical procedures and has done it ‘her way.’ If you saw Conch Color on July 6, you saw photos from the “Farewell Party” she threw for all her friends, family and loved ones. She was there hosting the party, boa around her shoulders, and it was a Lois Love In!!!! Up until a few weeks ago, she has been trying to lead a fairly normal life. But now, I am afraid, our lovely Lolo is fading. Bob and I visited with her on Saturday. She is very frail, but still able to recognize people and acknowledge things that you say to her. She is too weak to talk. Her 3 daughters are there, as is her devoted sister, Sissy…..and her many friends, who will miss her more than words can say, stop by for visits throughout the day. When we left, I bent down to kiss her forhead, and she looked at me and mouthed the words, “I love you.” I will always cherish every moment of knowing this wonderful woman! Please continue to keep Lois in your choicest thoughts and prayers.
