IT’S AQUA IDOL FINALE TUESDAY!!!!!

FEBRUARY 7 and FEBRUARY 8, 2012, in KEY WEST WITH LYNDA!!!

FINALE FOR AQUA IDOL ON FEB. 7TH…..Last week one of our shining stars was eliminated…Cynthia ‘Siroco’ Mulcahey! But she is Top 3 for sure!!!! She wowed us with her final song…resplendent in aqua blue hair and lashes… and all! The final two contestants, after weeks and weeks of competing, are the amazing CONNIE HURST and the adorable MIKE ROLFSMEYER! Each is a worthy Aqua Idol!!!! They each sang 5 songs and were simply marvelous! More than $1,100 was made for the benefit of the Waterfront Playhouse on 1/31. Now, you are ALL invited to attend the Grand Finale, on Feb. 7th at 6:30 pm…. where about $6,000 in prizes will be presented to the top three contestants! There will be lots of performances and more ‘giving’…..We invite all past contestants to come to the finale, along with all those who acted as Celebrity Judges throughout the competition. We would also like all former Aqua Idol Winners to be a part of this wonderful evening! It will be a night to remember! BRUCE MOORE’S BIRTHDAY VISIT!!!!….Sure was fabulous to see my very special friend, Bruce Moore, who breezed into Key West for a BIG Birthday visit last week! A HUGE group of adoring Brucie fans showed up on Saturday night at Tavern ‘N Town (where Bobby Nesbitt was playing) to welcome him back to town with hugs ‘n love and birthday well-wishes! Everyone was so glad

to see him, and I think he felt ‘the love!’ He was in great voice and it was wonderful to hear him sing again! Because of the deluge of rain on Sunday, he never made it to Lateda’s Tea Dance. If you missed him while he was in town, you can still send him good wishes at brucemoorebroadway@gmail.com. He plans to be celebrating his birthday all month long! He returns to Gettysburge , PA where he has been residing, today…but we sure hope he will be coming back to Key West often and longer!!!! Brucie….we love you and come back SOON!!!!

UPDATE ON PAT WEST……George Sanders informed me that Pat is going to be released from the hospital soon….a handicapped equipped apartment has been rented for her and Chip in NYC. She is in a wheelchair and must keep her right leg elevated at all times. Her leg suffered a triple break & has an erector-set metal cage contraption around it with screws, braces, and the like. Therapy will take a long time, and pain killers, which she hates taking, are a must to get her thru the painful therapy that lies ahead. The good news is that Pat has quit smoking entirely and claims she will never smoke again, a new outlook on longevity! She has great doctors in NY….This was a serious, near-fatal accident with a very lucky outcome for everyone involved. Keep Pat in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through the recovery process! We love you Pat!!!
