THE SCORPIO PERSONALITY….OCTOBER 23 TO NOVEMBER 22

First of all, let me tell you that some of my very favorite people are Scorpios, including my husband, Bob. I am told, that as a Cancer, the best sign for a Cancer is Scorpio, with Pisces being next! Now, with that said….Scorpios seem to have this reputation for being emotional volcanoes, and walking sex machines. Actually, the vast majority of Scorpios are restrained and balanced. They are terrific company and have a fantastic sense of humor! They do have a tendency to view life intensely….and they often find it difficult to express their innermost feelings. They have an innate need for privacy and secrecy which makes them seem mysterious….and sometimes people are afraid of what they are unsure of. Because the Scorpio has a need to feel emotionally involved in everything they do, they are happiest concentrating their energies in specific directions. Once the Scorpio has made up their mind about something, it is near impossible to persuade them to change it. They have strong feelings about heavy subjects like religion, capital punishment, and politics.

Loyalty is VERY important to the Scorpio, and if you do not respond in kind, they may never forget or forgive you. You will feel their disappointment when they give you the cold shoulder. Hence….don’t get on their wrong side! The Scorpio’s magnetic charm and powerful personality attract many fans. People love the idea that ‘Still waters run deep’ and people love trying to figure them out and find out what they are thinking. In the Love department, they need to be involved in a deep and satisfying relationship. No one-night stands or frivolous flirtations for them…they look for something significant and meaningful in all relationships. Scorpios give their all so they also demand a lot of their partner, with love and loyalty at the top of the list. And yes, sex and Scorpio go together like bread and butter!

When it comes to career, Scorpios must find a job that is stimulating and never boring. Their work has to have meaning and purpose and as with every other aspect of their life, they must feel emotionally connected to their career. They give their all to whatever they do and would feel wretched if involved in something demeaning or boring. They love to know all that is going on around them….to know all the intrigue and latest dish and be the first to tell everyone, too! Because they are sensitive, they like to get on well with their colleagues…a comfortable atmosphere is necessary to their happiness. Also, they crave positions of power and control. They are attracted to detective work, science, law, medicine, research, and many need to be self-employed to be in total control. (and as you will see below, many are very talented in the arts!) Scorpios also need money more than other signs, and financial security is important. They enjoy the fine life that money can afford. They place importance on status symbols, enjoy fine cars and lovely homes. They all should have been ‘To the Manor Born.’

WE ALL LOVE THE SCORPIOS IN OUR LIVES!!!!!
