AUGUST: MONROE COUNTY

AUGUST 15 to AUGUST 21, 2011, in KEY WEST with LYNDA!!!!

DONATIONS TO MARY JO DA SILVA FUND……Last evening there was a Memorial Celebration in honor of Mary Jo Da Silva, at Lateda, after the Tea Dance! No doubt the DA was packed with Mary Jo’s many friends and admirers. Many people have asked me if there is a way they can honor MJ with a donation to a special cause. Donations and contributions are being accepted to help defray funeral expenses. You can make a check out to Dean-Lopez Funeral Home and send to 418 Simonton St., Key West, FL 33040 or to Teri Johnston at 1503 Washington St., Key West, FL 33040. Make certain that you write on the check that it be directed to Mary Jo Da Silva. Any amount will help. At this point approximately $1,300 is needed. Any monies over the needed amount will go toward The Cancer Foundation of the Florida Keys….not the Cancer Society as previously mentioned. The Cancer Foundation helped Mary Jo through her health challenges. Please note that there will be another Memorial Celebration on January 10th, 2012, Mary Jo’s birthday. At this point, Lateda will also host this event, but other venues are being considered. Stay tuned for those details…but mark your calendars to save that date. Thank you and may your many memories of Mary Jo always dance in your hearts and minds!

THE LEO PERSONALITY….JULY 24 thru AUGUST 23

Every Leo worth their salt has an air of dignity about them and they behave accordingly! Leo’s know they are different from everyone else and they don’t want us to forget it. We would all wither and die without Leos….they are life enhancing! Most Leos have wonderful hair, and is often the first thing you will notice about them. They are exuberant and enthusiastic, as well as very warm and affectionate. Leos are great ego-boosters and it is great having them in your life! Most Leos are confident and don’t need to prove to anyone how great they are. They make impressions on people, very naturally. They are very organized….brilliant at making things happen…and they make everyone sit up and take notice. Family is very dear to every Leo’s heart. They are great communicators and always keep in touch with everyone. They have big interest in their children. Leo is the sign of creativity and they express their talents in many ways. If they don’t they are frustrated and irritable. Key interests for Leos are dancing, acting, painting…..This is the sign of drama and talent….they love to live in the limelight. That is why so many Leos are entertainers, designers, in the fashion industry, and also sports. Leos have big hearts and boundless supplies of love for everyone they care about. They are loyal and faithful and expect others to behave that same way toward them. Leo friends can look forward to being cherished by them. Leos do tend to get bossy….they mean noharm…they just can’t help themselves! They need a partner who can stand up to them and set them straight now and then. Leos are very generous and spend lavishly on their loved ones. They favor quality over quantity and have excellent taste. They love spoiling their favorite people, no matter how much it costs! We sure do LOVE our Leo Friends!
