ST. PAUL’S CHURCH…
It’s Joseph Lowe with his classical organ music from Noon until 1 PM.  Free!!!

THE IRISH CONCERT…
..that Fiona Molloy presented at St. Paul’s yesterday afternoon was absolutely wonderful!  The Church was overflowing with adoring fans who were treated to a splendid Irish Extravaganza.  Alaskan Bagpiper, Mark Ryan, began the program with a regal walk down the aisle playing Irish tunes….then Joe Lowe played some Irish songs on the piano.  Following that, were two of the prettiest and best Irish Dancers I have ever seen, Shawnie Brandt and Mairead Vieira, who were resplendent in Gorgeous costumes.  The always wonderful Fiona sang some beautiful songs, the program was simply fabulous….But THEN, Fiona introduced Kiana Ahovelo, a 12 year old singing sensation from Oahu, Hawaii.  Fiona discovered this prodigy when she was touring in Hawaii 18 months ago, and was literally blown away by Kiana’s amazing voice.  Well let me tell you, EVERYONE who was at St. Paul’s yesterday experienced something quite wonderful and awe inspiring, as we listened to this lass sing.  She started with Danny Boy…..There was not a dry eye in the Church, I assure you!  Her voice is a pure soprano…totally unaffected….no flourishes or gimmicks…just this amazing gorgeous voice.  Her last song was Ave Maria, and with her final note, everyone stood up en masse to give her a well-deserved Ovation!  Thanks to all of you who showed up for this program.  I can only hope that in the future, some venue in town will talk to Fiona and invite her to perform this program next year…..like The Waterfront Playhouse, the Red Barn or the Tennessee Williams Cabaret!  It was a MOST special afternoon…and one all those in attendance will remember and be talking about for a long time!  And to think, they did this all for Free!  Look for pictures in Conch Color this week.  Tom Oosterhoudt was in total awe!!!!
