Feel the excitement as Michael Wiskus sprints past the viewing audience at over 260 miles per hour pulling straight up and repeatedly tumbling end over end then literally hovers his bi-plane like a helicopter.

The NAS Key West Southernmost Air Spectacular March 23rd-24th, 2013. Be in attendance to witness an interview and personal tour of Mike’s air show aircraft, the Lucas Oil Pitts S1-11b airplane, the only one in the world like it. Mike fell in love with airplanes at the age of 10. On his 15th birthday, he was given his first airplane ride, and from there on he has never looked back.

With more than 24,000 hours logged of flight time, Mike is highly qualified to fly more than 30 different models of aircraft including some of the highest performance aerobatic aircraft in the world. The 2002 U.S. National Aerobatic Champion as well as a 2004 U.S. National Aerobatic Team Member, Mike has traveled throughout the planet performing in air shows and competing against some of the all-time greatest aerobatic pilots in Europe and Russia.

Mike is highly motivated  to share his passion and love for aviation through his air show in Key West. Tumbling his aircraft end over end through the smoke and noise, his precise point rolls and outrageous maneuvers will only prove to you why he was awarded the World’s Silver Medal in Sweden.

Mike’s message is simple. “You can follow your dreams and do what you love. Just work hard and never give up.”
