Barracuda, grouper, snapper and many other fish are caught on the inshore waters and nearby reefs. In rough weather, back-country fishing is attractive and only three miles by boat from the marina via Snake Creek to the bayside. The fishing from our pier is excellent! Record bonefish and many other species of fish are caught right here from our pier, and by wading out onto the flats next to the resort property. These flats are considered one of the best bonefishing spots in the area by the local guides. Some of the worlds' best fishing guides are here in Islamorada, and are available for inshore, offshore, and back-country charters. The reefs of the Upper & Middle Keys are also known for exquisite diving and snorkeling. The shallow and clear waters provide excellent visibility of the coral reefs and abundant ocean life. Numerous professional dive shops are close by, and offer both scuba and snorkel trips daily, as well as air refills and dive gear.
