Michael Stewart, & Jorge, Square One, Key West
Easter may be over but we are still recovering from a wild week of Bunny Hopping. Stopped in to
see Michael Stewart at Square One in Key West last Tuesday. Bartender, Patticakes is in Barbados
so owner, Michael is not just calling the shots, he’s making them, as well. Happy Hour was packed
with regulars as usualand we had fun catching up with everyone.

Mariko Cross, OISHI Restaurant & Sushi Bar
Wednesday we headed over to OISHI, which is located on Truman Avenue in Key West. Good friend
Mariko Cross recently took over here and she’s transformed this sleepy restaurant into a very hip and
happening Sushi Bar and Martini Lounge with interesting “fusion” Japanese dishes and designer cocktails.
This is definitely a rising star worth checking out. FYI: Free parking in back.

Rhonda & Jola at Abondanza Restaurant, Key West
Thursday night we were itching for Italian so at around 8:30 p.m., we popped into Abbondanza Restaurant in Key West. The place was absolutely packed but manager Jolla was very sweet and squeezed us in. The portions are huge here and the prices are very family friendly which may explain why the place is always busy year-round.

Kenny keeps the cold ones comin'

Abra & Woody, Key Colony Inn

Capt. Jason Long & Ann Nash

Driftwood Pizza Owners Having Fun
We arrived back to Key Colony Beach on Friday night and made a beeline to the Key Colony Inn. This place is a genuine Cheers Bar
where everyone knows your name. Kenny was slinging cocktails while Woody backed him up on the bar. Capt. Jason Long and main squeeze, Ann Nash pulled up a couple of stools and shared a few laughs with us. Then the gang from Driftwood Pizza in
Marathon showed up and the place started to really rock.

Katherine, Lynn & Dr. Emmie
Sometime during our Friday night fun, we decided to cook Easter Dinner which meant
spending Saturday cleaning and cooking. It was a “Girlfriends” Easter celebration
with Katherine, Lynn, daughter Shiela and Dr. Emmie. We had a wonderful time,
lots of good food and one or two pineapple-infused martinis.

An exhausted Spike calls it a day
