To quote Bobby….”I am thankful for the fact that the incredible, Larry Harvey, who will be 90 years old on his next birthday, comes to Aqua every single Wednesday, with his partner, Alan Ferguson, and sings with me like he has been doing for these past 34 years. His voice never fails to thrill the crowd, and his rendition of “Time After Time” will move you to tears. I know of no performer, famous or not, who is still singing like Larry does, in his 90th year! It makes me cry just to think of it.”
Truly folks…whenever you stop in at Aqua Lounge to enjoy Bobby, Larry is always there…and it is amazing…his voice just keeps getting better and stronger than ever!

PEOPLE’S THEATER UPDATE….
Connie Hurst, Pres. of People’s Theater of Key West has some recent news to share. The property on Fleming that seemed like a sure thing, turned out to be not a sure thing….so Connie has made arrangements to occupy a space at 3340 N. Roosevelt. Now this is cute….the building was former home of “Peep-o-Rama, the former home of “Island Erotica XXX”…and now, as Connie puts it, “it will now be the home of The People’s Theater…or should I say “PEEP”le’s Theater???” Anyway…there is a lot of work to be done to get the place operational by Aug.1…so all able-bodied volunteers are invited to help clean, paint, build a stage, and help promote the opening. Please call 305-294-6813 if you can volunteer some time, talent or treasure to this new and exciting thespian company!
NIGHT OF JANUARY 16TH…
That is the name of the next production of People’s Theater of KW. It is a play by Ayn Rand, and it opens on July 29 thru Aug.1, and will be presented at St. Paul’s Parish Hall. Showtime is 8 PM and tix are $15 at the door.
IMPROVABLES AT BOTTLECAP…
This Improv Comedy Troupe of the PTKW will be performing at the BottleCap Groove Lounge on Saturday, July 17 and Sat., July 24, with a $5 cover to benefit PTKW. Fun!

Classical guitarist, Matthew Jampol, has a new venue. On Wednesday nights you are invited to Dinner,Concert, and Gallery Tour….The dinner begins at Banana Cafe on Duval St. at 6:00 PM….afterward, those who reserve, will walk across the street to the Alan Matz Gallery for a Gallery Tour and Classical Guitar Concert from Matthew Jampol.
