DEAR READERS…
Thanks to all of you for not ganging up on me and telling me that  I messed up and called yesterday, Tues. the 17th instead of the 16th!   Yikes!  I must be losing it.  Thanks for bearing with me and tolerating my faux pas!
 
MY MOTHER….
Just a little update on my dear Mother…..My last two visits with Mom have been much improved.  They have taken Mom off her anti-anxiety meds and she is more aware, awake, and communicative than she has been in two months.  We have actually enjoyed some communication…she has answered my questions and told me how she feels.  I hate to fool myself into thinking she is on the upswing, but she certainly has shown signs of staying the course.  I do believe we may have her around for a while longer.  Hallelujah!  Thanks for all the prayers…As I indicated, I don’t want to have false hope, but things really do seem a whole lot better.  Keep those prayers coming our way!

HUSBAND, BOB!!
(Am repeating this in case you did not read it yesterday!)
I have been inundated with questions about Bob and why I had him on the Prayer List!  I think you may recall that in July Bob had a nasty bike fall just before we left KW for Ohio.  That problem has worked itself out….but he ran into another mess.  He contacted a very bad case of poison ivy…it continued to spread and worsen.  Finally, he went to the doctor and he somehow got a Mrsa infection, which is very serious and concerning…..thankfully he got help in time, and after heavy duty antibiotics, he is doing very well. Thanks for your concern.  Prayers do help!  Read On!!!
 
THANKFUL THURSDAY FROM BOB….
My husband, Bob is thankful…”for the ability to sit in my home which has a beautiful view of Chippewa Lake, and contemplate and enjoy the numerous notes of support and encouragement that I have received on my recent “problem.”  More so, I am even More touched by the messages of support sent to my wonderful wife, Lynda, regarding her mother and her declining condition.  It reminds me how truly short our time on this planet is.  Thanks to each of you for being open and sharing your own experiences.  I am thankful that my bike accident resulted in nothing major broken or damaged.  The downside is that it now takes at least four times to heal than it used to when I was  a tad younger.  Another thing I am thankful for has been being privy to the writing abilities of our talented friend, Michael Mulligan, who has sent to me (and other lucky recipients) a recorded journey of his travels with Bobby Nesbitt this past summer.  Not only is Michael a gifted actor, but his writing allowed me to see another side of this talented person.  (I look forward to the play that Michael should someday pen.)  In closing I want to quote Michael when his road trip was finished and he arrived back in Key West….”And one day, again, I hope very soon…we will all come Home again, to a place where we feel safe…safe in your heart as well as your back yard.  My fervent prayer is that everyone will come to a place like I’m talking about…a place to call Home….a place where it just feels good, really right.  This is a place where voices cannot manipulate us with fear.  And when we look at one another, we will see ourselves there.  You…Me…One Human Family.  We’ll feel safe because there’s no more “us and them.”  It will be US…Just US!  That’s how Home should feel.”  For these things I am eternally thankful and grateful for!
