THE FAT LADY SINGS TOMORROW!

OCTOBER 29th thru OCTOBER 31st, 2011, in KEY WEST with LYNDA

DEAR READERS……What fun it is to be a part Friday’s Masquerade March “Local’s” Parade! Actually, it has encompassed thousands of revelers, not just Locals. Thankfully the rain held off just as we rounded the corner on Simonton St., and Voila! There was a great table waiting for us at the always delish, SARABETH’S!!!! We dined on salmon and scallops…both amazing and succulent….and that David Case, owner and proprietor, is all class! Thanks, David, for always making dining at Sarabeth’s a yummy experience!!!!

SURREY WESTRUPP IS THE NEW FANTASY FEST QUEEN! We are thrilled for Surrey and for Duchess Liz……and Congrats also to King DAVID TAYLOR of the Cypress House, and Duke, Sunshine (whom we love) and Duke-ette, Rebecca Schilling too! You all shine!!!!!

This concert, by Johannes Brahms, is under the direction of the wonderful EMILY BOYD LOWE….

BOBBY NESBITT’S BACK…..That wonderful Bobby Nesbitt, has been missed in Key West this summer. Since Sept. 24, he has been performing to enthusiastic crowds at Pusser’s New York American Bar, in Munich, Germany. We had the great pleasure to see him there on October 1st! We spent 18 wonderful days in Italy, and capped our trip off with Bobby Nesbitt…what a super way to finish a vacation! Bobby never told me that Pat West and Chip Allen, former owners of The KEYS Piano Bar, were also in Munich. You can imagine our surprise when they walked in…what great fun!!!! The next two days, Bobby was our tour guide and he showed us “His” Munich, with a splendid walking tour. On Oct. 3, our last day in Munich, we three went to Oktoberfest and had a blast! The only wrong thing we did, was we decided to go on the roller coaster……my left side is just now feeling better after being jolted around! What were we thinking? Anyway….having Bobby back makes my heart sing….hoping he will be performing back at all our favorite haunts in Key West!!!!
