MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND, IN KEY WEST WITH LYNDA!!!!
DEAR READERS…
No doubt you had a huge weekend….the choices of things to do and enjoy were staggering….and the week ahead is no exception.
As Thanksgiving Day approaches, I would ask that you send me something that I can use in Thankful Thursday’s column this week. Send to me at kwlynda@bellsouth.net. Please do not send it along with this blog. I print everything that is sent and when you do that, I end up printing my blog over and over and sometimes it is seven pages. Think Green! Thank you!

SMART RIDE….REFLECTIONS…
I was part of a fairly large crowd to greet those who participated in the AIDS Smart Ride on Nov. 20th, at the AIDS Memorial at the White Street Pier. Not really knowing what to expect, I was moved to tears when I saw over 500 bike riders round the corner and heading towards us. They dedicated themselves to this cause and did a two day 165 mile ride from Miami to raise money for AIDS/HIV…..it was overwhelming…as were the beautiful speeches made at the end of the Pier. I thank Terry Paulson (Smyrna) and all those on our Key West Team…..I was so proud of everyone who gave of themselves. I understand nearly $500,000 was raised. God bless you all!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MCC CHURCH!!

Joe McMurray, pastor of this congregation! It was a special event indeed. The people are the church…and there are truly wonderful, caring and giving people at The MCC!
