DEAR READERS…
It has been a rather positive week of visits with my dear Mother, Queen Adele Stevens. She seemed happy to see us, and she called us by name. We even had bits and pieces of conversation and I got to tell her some important things, and I know she understood what I was saying. At one point I told her how much I loved her, and how I missed our conversations and such, and she looked at me and said…”Me too….if you say more I will start to cry.” And, of course, we both had tears in our eyes at that point I also told her that she has been a wonderful Mother…and she said, “I have?” And my reply was….”You have been the best Mother anyone could possibly have.” It was a close moment and those I cherish! Thanks to all who continually ask about Mom….it touches my heart that you care.

I heard from Bruce Moore and Bobby Nesbitt that Michael Isaacs, who appeared at The KEYS last week, was just sensational! They said he Packed them In…and people were loving every single minute! As it turns out, I have heard Michael Isaacs perform before…last August, when we were in New York City, we saw and heard him perform at Brandy’s Piano Bar, on Eat 84th St. He really was terrific! I recall thinking his style reminded me of the late, great, Peter Alan…with a bit of Jerry Lee Lewis thrown in! Sure hope Pat and Chip, owners of The KEYS invite him back!!! By the way, The KEYS is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the summer!

I am really comfortable in a theater/acting environment, but am not, when it is JUST ME on the stage. I don’t always like it. Thanks also to Mike McCabe for helping me in this regard, too! As much fun as it is for Amy Pesola to participate in Aqua Idol, it is so much fun to be a member of the audience and enjoy the great talent competing. Joining Amy tomorrow, will be Traci Reynolds, Michael McCabe, Gayla Morgan, and Bill Heller….all singing their hearts out for the Waterfront Playhouse and to win the coveted crown Of Aqua Idol.
