The Fabulous Christopher Peterson has chosen the Waterfront Playhouse to present his last three Gala Shows in Key West, before heading off to Las Vegas, where he will, no doubt, take the town by storm!  His shows are Saturday through Monday, Oct. 23-25, at 8:00 PM!!!  Tix can be bought by going to the website at www.waterfrontplayhouse.org or by calling the box office at 295-5015.  Let’s give Christopher a BIG sendoff!  He sure will be missed here in Key West!!!!

IN MEMORIAM..
RV BEAUMONT…. 
Tim Swain AKA RV Beaumont, passed away, surrounded by his family and cherished friends.  He was a wonderful person, and although he faced many health obstacles, he remained positive, upbeat, and joyful right until the end.  He raised thousands of dollars for many charities…he was loved….he will be missed.  On Wed. Oct. 20th, there will be a Potluck Memorial at 801 Duval St from 5 to 7 PM, with a 7 PM walking parade to the Pier at the South end of Duval for a final goodbye to this dear Key West Legend!
NEAL HARTMAN….
Another great loss, is Neal Hartman, partner of David Bray. They were at their home in Sag Harbor, NY preparing to return to Key West….with no known medical problems, Neal died in his sleep also on Wednesday evening.  Neal was very active in the Arts in Key West….and he was a huge champion of the Trophia Butterfly Foundation. There will be a service in Sag Harbor on Oct. 16th….a Memorial in KW has yet to be announced.  To honor Neal’s Memory, you are being encouraged to  contribute to the Trophia Butterfly Foundation…. www.thetrophiabutterflyfoundation.org.   You can osend messages of condolence to David at 1204 Duncan St., Key West, FL 33040.  David sent me a poignant note….He asked that I tell everyone to please say “I love you” to everyone you love as often as you can, while you can!  Bless you David!

Just want to congratulate Anne O’Shea on the great show she presented at The San Carlos Institue last night!  Superb entertainment by Terri White, Ron Raines, Beth McVey and Michael McCabe….with David Budway at the piano….Anne looke smashing in her red suit….and she also sang!  It was a very special evening of musical  entertainment…and all those in attendance had a wonderful time!

JOANNA SCHMIDA BOOK SIGNING AT SODU GALLERY…..
During the Full Moon HOWL on Fri., 10/22 from 6 to 9 PM author, Joanna Brady Schmida will be signing her books at the SoDu Gallery, 1102 Duval St.  Her great novel, “The Woman at the Light” was released in April to wonderful reviews…it is about a woman lighthousekeeper in 19th century Key West.  It won the KW Writers Guild award and the Anne McKee Artists Fund of the Florida Keys.  Please stop by and have a glass of wine, too!
