VICKI GORDON’S MOTHER PASSED ON….
Vicki wrote this tribute to her Mother…. Mrs. Marilyn Goff Thompson of Nashville, TN died on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital. Graveside Services were held on 8/28. She was born Aug. 22, 1922 in Kennedy, TX to the late Percy and Hattie Martin Goff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vic Thompson in 1996 and a brother, Martin Goff. Marilyn, better known as “Nancy Lopez”…”Red” and “Mimi”… will be remembered for her sweet smile, her gift of gravity and her complete love of life. She loved each woman as a daughter, each man as a son, and each child as her own. She was a gracious chaperon, hostess, and stable mother to many. She has forever made a big Burgundy lipstick mark in this world. Cheers to Heaven! You got a good one! God bless you, Vicki….our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
