J.T.THOMPSON…
As J.T. was biking to work on 3/29, an unleashed dog ran into his pathway. The impact of this large lab, knocked him off his bike. J.T. shattered his right hip, ruptured his diaphragm, and his lung was partially collapsed. He underwent surgery and he is now at home, learning how to walk with a walker…re-injured his legs by trying too hard…legs swelled and he had to be immobile for 9 days. This is both a physical and an emotional challenge for J.T. As you know, J.T. has invested every dollar he makes in promoting One Human Family, and now he is more financially vulnerable than he ever imagined. Ma Evans and Ms D will be planning a Benefit for J.T. soon, to help him with the amount of money that Insurance won’t cover. Stay tuned for news on that. If you would like to help J.T. in any way at this point, you can call him at 292-1886 or e-mail him at jt@designkw.com. Messages of love and support would really encourage J.T. at this time. Please send him cards, etc. to 908 Elizabeth St., Key West, FL 33040. J.T….being the dear and caring person he is, told me that, since Henry Woods passed away, he has “relearned to appreciate each day and every friend…to take nothing and no one for granted…for life is fleeting and fragile.” So…be careful out there. Wear helmets when you are bike riding….and to all pet owners….PLEASE make sure your dog is walked and leashed!!!!! Thank you!
