I want to wish all Fathers everywhere, a Most wonderful day today! This is YOUR day to do whatever your heart desires! Being a parent is a challenging role, and you deserve lots of good things for all you had to go through during your years of raising your child…it is a full time job! This message also goes to Uncles, Grandparents, Step dads, Nephews, grown sons with children of their own, and good friends who are often surrogate fathers to other people’s children! And I would just like to add a sidebar…..I want to thank my dear husband, Bob, for being a wonderful Father to our children, Rob and Melissa, a terrific Grandfather to Jonathan and Lexy, and a superb friend, and Husband to me! I am VERY thankful to You for all that you are, have been, and will be!
If you are blessed to have your Dad in your life (or someone representing Dad to you!), PLEASE do not forget to call your Dad today and thank him for everything under the sun! And don’t call collect! Did you know that Father’s Day is the number one day in the year with the most collect phone calls? And one last thing…..I lost my darling Father, Ed Stevens, 14 years ago, and I still miss him every single day, and sure wish I could have one more chance to say “Thanks Dad…I love you.”

It was a great turnout for Jt Thompson’s Benefit at Bourbon St.!!!! Lots of great acts and super silent auction items prevailed! We truly hope and pray that JT receives great dividends from all that went on tonight!
COLOMBIAN GRACE RESTAURANT….
We had gone to this amazing restaurant earlier in the season, and thrilled with the delish menu and amazing meals we were presented with! We decided to go there again after the JT Thomoson Event at Bourbon Street…, and we must admit, it was even BETTER than the first time!! Owner, Zulma Segura, has put together an amazing menu and it is totally so very special!!!! Bob and I ordered the most delicious meals, and we were blown away by the attention to detail and the wonderful taste of the cuisine! If you have not been to this great place, the food is just fabulous…great wine list….this is a very special restaurant on Petronia St., between Blue Heaven and Santiago’s Bodega….PLEASE make sure you try it out! We do NOT want this restaurant to fail! It is soooo wonderful and Zulma, is not only knowledgeable, but so dear and charming too!
