AQUA IDOL FINALE TONIGHT, FEB. 19….Eleven weeks ago 16 marvelous vocalists started competition for Aqua Idol-The Waterfront Playhouse! We are now down to 3. Last week, the super Heather-Mae Potter and Matt Hulsey were eliminated, leaving final three, Perry Arnold, Ruben Navarro and Daniel Wiggins. Tonight, the third place contestant from last week will be announced early on. After that, the Top Two, will go head to head all evening, trying to earn the most tips so that they can become The 2012-13 Aqua Idol for The Waterfront Playhouse, following in the esteemed footsteps of past Waterfront Idols, Maj Johnson, Michael McCabe, and Connie Hurst. We need you there! It will be a grand night to remember! Emcee Randy Thompson will be at his most hilarious….and adding to the the Judge’s table, of Tony Konrath and Lynda Frechette will be the always amazing CHRISTOPHER PETERSON!!!!! There will also be special guest numbers by past contestants, SHERRY SWEET-TEWELL, MATT HULSEY, VALERIE CARR, and hopefully Randy Thompson and Christopher Peterson too! The Show will start promptly at 6:30 pm and it will be NON-STOP entertainment and guaranteed great fun! You will NOT want to miss a single second! SEE YOU THERE!!!! (I’m excited just thinking about it!!!!)

BRUCE MOORE’S SHOW ON FEB. 18….Bruce, who has truly been thru hell and back, gave a brilliant performance on Monday night at The Tennessee Williams Cabaret. He performed to a full house….some were put off by his personal sharing of his struggles with his health…but ALL must agree that he is in FINE voice and that he sang his heart and soul out for everyone! Bob and I are proud to be Bruce’s friends. We have been a part of his journey…. and we loved the show. That is, after all, what real friends are for, right? We are glad that Bruce is back! He has moore talent in his little finger than most people have in their whole body! And that is the name of that tune!

LE PETIT PARIS RESTAURANT…..We stopped by this absolutely delightful new restaurant at 825 Duval St. and it really is a special spot! Owner, Robert Konopka, formerly of Tavern ‘N Town, has put his heart and soul into making this the place to go to! We were absolutely thrilled to see Audrey Samz greet & welcome us as the hostess…she is Super Girl, you know, and we all love Audrey! We sat outdoors on a beautiful evening, nicely lit with umbrella tables…just about every table was taken…. soft jazz was performed by Peter Diamond and Tim McAlpine, a classy and nice touch…..We were elated to see Ric Palmer there as a server, and he too, formerly of Tavern ‘N Town (where he had a great following!!!) was charming everyone in sight! It was also great to see familiar faces like Bill & Marti Roberts and Joyce Stahl dining there, all enjoying their meals to no end! Le Petit only opened a few months ago, but the word is out there that Robert aims to please. Open from 8 am to midnight, they have a terrific young chef…..you can get yummy breakfast, lunch and now delectable dinner dishes there every single day. I loved my scallops and the warm goat cheese salad was to die for. Everyone at our table had big satisfied smiles on their faces. Presently you can bring your own wine or beer, but they will soon have their wine & beer license. I ask….. Is there anything more wonderful than sitting outdoors, under the stars on a beautiful Key West night….sipping wine, and dining on a delish meal….great service and a very eager to please happy staff?
