PRAY FOR CLAIRE CARROLL TODAY, PLEASE………. My dear friend, Claire Carroll, is undergoing surgery today. I ask that you please keep her in your choicest thoughts and prayers so that all goes well. Thankfully, Steve will be with her. We all love Claire and wish her well during this challenging time!

THE POPS CONCERT LAST NIGHT….
What a wonderful evening of musical entertainment!!! Vincent Zito brought another super-fabulous show to the stage of Tennessee Williams Theatre, and we loved every minute! Congratulations to the Leading Ladies in the show, Terri White, Kristen Michelle, Susie Speidel, Laurie Breakwell, Maria Zito-Kaufman, Mary Falconer, Marjorie Paul-Shook, Joy Hawkins….and to the Leading Men, who wowed us…namely, Lee Roy Reams, Bruce Moore, Bobby Nesbitt, Eric Haley, Mike Mulligan, Gordon Ross, Danny Weathers, and Rich Simone! Congrats also, to David Black, Linda Greenberg, Heather Carruthers, Gayla Morgan, Maj Johnson, and Elizabeth & Earl Halbe, Dean Walters and Nathan Gay…and to the fabulous dancing from Bruce (wow!) Moore, Eric (whoopee!) Haley, Carolyn (Karrumbah!) Cooper, and Kyla (Pizzazz!)) Piscopink who were amazing! Special applause Cameron Murray, Penny Leto, Carolyn C. and Bruce M. The only sad thing, was that it had to end! I could have sat through it all over again!!!!! So great to see actor Christian Slater in the audience again, being blown away by the fabulous talent on this tiny Island Paradise! He is quickly becoming a special part of our town. And thanks to Tom Oosterhoudt, who will give this marvelous show the great coverage it deserves, in Conch Color this coming Thursday!!!!

At 6 PM, author, Jean Carper, will speak at The Studios, 600 White St., as part of the Friends of the Library Lecture Series. The lecture will focus on her new book, “100 Things You Can Do to Prevent Alzheimers Disease”…These lectures are FREEE and open to the public.
