SEVEN DAYS OF FABULOUSNESS!!!!

NOV. 3rd THRU NOV. 10th , etc., in KEY WEST WITH LYNDA!!!!

DEAR READERS….We get lost in the joy and frivolity of living in Key West. The fun never seems to stop. That is why it seems to hurt doubly bad when we are confronted with distressing news, especially when it comes as a total shock! I am very saddened to say that we lost one of Key West’s very dear and special persons. Our friend, Jerry Cash, passed away in his sleep on Monday. It is hard to think of Caroline Cash without her Jerry…..no doubt it has been a difficult time for her and her family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with this great loss. I served on the Art & Historical Assoc. Board with Jerry and found him to be a wonderful person, an adoring husband, and a true lover of Key West, with a great sense of humor and a zest for life! Caroline will be returning to Key West soon. You can send messages of condolences to her at her home: 3620 Fogarty Ave., Key West, FL 33040. Thank you, and please take time to count your blessings and to live each day to the fullest!

WATERFRONT PLAYHOUSE INSTALLS LOOP SYSTEM FOR HEARING IMPAIRED!!!!!…..The Waterfront Playhouse is NOW fully ADA compliant for hearing impaired…and that is B-I-G!!!!! With the help of a wonderful donor & the Florida Hearing Loop Systems, our theater goers who are hearing impaired can come to the theater and hear every word onstage!!!! The entire stage picks up sound & transmits it wirelessly to T-Coil enabled hearing aids as well as cochlear implant users. The system also came with loaner portable receivers and headsets for hearing impaired individuals who do not have aids or T-Coil equipped hearing aids. The quality of the system has been tested and the signal is extraordinary! We welcome ALL theater goers to come to the Waterfront Playhouse and enjoy every single moment…not just visually, but audibly!!!! We thank Stanley and Judith Zabar for everything they have done to make this possible…and to Bunnie Smith for finding the ideal setup for our Playhouse!!!!
