TOM OOSTERHOUDT UPDATE……I am most thankful that my good friend, Conch Color’s very own, TOM OOSTERHOUDT, got through his major back surgery (though it took 8 not 5 hours!!!), and that he is hopefully on the road to healing. I thank all who have been praying for Tom and ask that you continue to do so. He will be in the hospital for a couple of weeks. Tom called and left a message on my phone…. He really has gone through a very serious surgery. He is grateful to have had not one but two amazing surgeons operate. You can send him messages and cards to: Tom Oosterhoudt …Memorial Regional Hospital…Room 779 Bed 1, 3501 Johnson St., Hollywood, FL 33021. His home address is 314 Simonton St., Key West, FL 33040. WE REMEMBER MIMI DIXON and DICK REYNOLDS……I was deeply saddened to hear about the recent passing of two very dear and special Key West icons!  Mimi Dixon, a very close friend, passed away at her home in Traverse City, MI.  She and her late husband, Bob, were two of my favorite Key West friends….We met in 1985 when I first started visiting Key West, and we loved them immediately.  Dick Reynolds was a huge supporter of the Arts in Key West.  He was a true gentleman and very sincere and caring.  Mimi and Dick will live on in my heart.

THE LIBRA PERSONALITY…..SEPTEMBER 24 THRU OCTOBER 22

When you meet a Libran for the first time, your first impression will be of someone who is charming, diplomatic, and eager to put you at ease. Harmony is very essential for Librans…they cannot bear it when tempers are frayed or the atmosphere is tense, and they won’t relax until things are back on an even keel. All Librans strive to create balance in their lives…hence their sign, The Scales. When the scales are not in balance the Libran fights to get back in control of the situation and to find that happy medium.

Librans are calming & relaxing to be around, thanks to their gift of being able to put others first and themselves second. They make you feel like you are special and that they truly appreciate your company.

Libra is one of the best looking Zodiac signs. They have instinctive good taste, preferring classic clothes to the latest fads. Although they radiate charm, they also have a tough side to them. If you annoy them, they will find ways of letting you know they aren’t pleased. It’s healthy for them to let off steam, & the eruption is usually far less tempestuous if they allow themselves frequent outbursts!

They are happiest operating on an intellectual level. They see two sides to every story and would rather sit the fence than to make up their minds. Their ready charm ensures their popularity and they can be extremely affectionate, loving and romantic. They are much happier when they are in a relationship, and splitting up with a long term partner is very difficult for them. They would rather stay in a dead end relationship than risk being left on the shelf. Librans get their feelings hurt easily, though they may put on a brave face. Librans have a knack for falling in love with love and they are keen to find their soul mate. They are idealistic and prefer to see only the good in others, turning a blind eye to a partner’s faults. They tend to put their love on a pedestal…and they are crushed if that person disappoints them by revealing that they are human after all. And what do they do when this occurs? They go back for more.

Librans love the high life and money is what makes them able to afford that. Librans like being a part of a Team, as working alone makes them feel lonely. They prefer jobs like diplomacy, fashion, beauty and music….anything that makes the most of their charm and intellect will bring out the best in them! The best relationships for a Libran are with a Gemini, Leo, Sagittarian, Aquarian, a Pisces or another Libran!

WE LOVE OUR LIBRAN FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS!!!!
