CHIPPEWA LAKE, AUGUST 11TH…..The heat wave Ohio has been experiencing seems to have come to an end, at least temporarily. We have had a bit of rain and that has brought down the temps. Dear friend, Bruce Moore, came for a 3 day visit, and we had a great time…dining, tennis, bridge, boating…..now he is on his way to visit his sister in Tenn. And then on to NJ to reunite with some of his co-stars from his time performing in GYPSY on the Broadway stage. Come Friday, 8/17, our son Rob, his daughter, Lexy, and possibly his girlfriend, Stacy, will be visiting for the weekend. Our nephew, Joey Stevens is visiting Ohio from CA, and our niece Jennifer Stevens, husband Peter, and children will be at Chippewa Lake the 17th too! It will be fun having everyone back at the Lake again! Like old times!!! Again…. If you need to reach us here, our address is 62 Bungalow Bay Blvd., Chippewa Lake, Ohio 44215. WE REMEMBER EMILY BOYD LOWE……It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that we lost the wonderful Emily Boyd Lowe, who passed away peacefully at 2 am on August 1, 2012, surrounded by her loved ones. Emily was a true Key West treasure….someone cherished by all who knew her. For many years she headed the marvelous Keys Chorale and was teacher, mentor and friend to all in the Chorale. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and a real Lady. You can send messages of sympathy and caring to her husband, Donald Lowe at, 3170 Gousty Knowe Lane, Lake Leelenau, MI 49653. There will be a memorial service to honor Emily in either October or November. In the meantime….keep Emily’s husband, Don and the family in your choicest thoughts and prayers as they deal with their great loss. And, if you look into the sky at night you will see a bright star shining in the Heavens…..that would be Emily Lowe shining brightly like the special star she was. The choirs of angels will never sound better with Emily directing them! She will be missed more than words can say.
