LAST CHANCES TO SEE, “BECKY’S NEW CAR”, AT THE RED BARN…                       These are the last 2 days  to see….  LARRY HARVEY’S 90^TH BIRTHDAY BASH!!!!              Wed., April 6th was one of the great nights in Key West!  That adorable LARRY HARVEY celebrated his 90^th birthday at Aqua Nightclub, and it was a true night to remember!  The place was filled with Larry’s best fans, including, Mayor Craig and Cheryl Cates, Howard & Cyndy Livinsgston, Sally Lewis, Vera, MaryAnn Worth, Anne McKee, Donald & Dennis from Philadelphia, Tom Oosterhoudt, Jimmy Weekely,  Randy Roberts, the Nestors, Clayton Lopez, Lee Dodez,  Jim & Cindy Cameron, Gene Daily, the Hudsons, the Cawleys, Billy Cartledge & Jim Hall, the Arnolds, Margaret Adorjan, Cuff, Mark Watson, Fiona Molloy & Walter Lepperd, Michael Thomas, everybody in Key West it seems….people were hanging from the rafters!!!!  The fabulous Bobby Nesbitt was at the piano all night long and acted as master of ceremonies….Friends of Larry’s from days gone by were there and it was a true LOVE IN for Larry!  Larry sang many songs….and at age 90, he can  sstill blow everyone away with his amazing voice!  Everyone who was there had a fabulous time……If you were not there, you missed a night to cherish!   We are already planning Larry’s 91^st!!!!!  ETC!!!!  Thanks to all who planned this event….especially Jill McDonald, Sandy Thomas, Bobby Nesbitt, etc.   And a GREAT BIG Thank you to TOM OOSTERHOUDT, who made LARRY HARVEY,  Conch Color’s Cover Boy in this new issue!  Next Thursday there will be a huge spread on the Big Birthday Bash at Aqua Nightclub!  Tom, you always come through!     

HELP KEY WEST HIGH SCHOOL WITH OPERATION GRADUATION….               Thus far $5,000 has been collected for  Operation Graduation for the senior class…an all night event providing a safe, alcohol & drug free celebration….a night of music, dancing, movies, games, fun and food. Everyone is asked to help, as it takes a great effort to make this happen.  However….it takes $20,000 for this event to be put on.  If the money isn’t raise the event will be cancelled.  Perhaps if your org wants to do something on behalf of the kids, you can put on a fundraiser.  Or, donations can be sent to Key West High School….Attention of Leslie Holmes….at 2100 Flagler Ave…..Key West, FL 33040.
