BRUCE MOORE at T ‘N T ON FEB. 4TH…..Broadway Baby,Bruce Moore, who has been residing in Gettysburg, PA, and oddly enough on W. Broadway Ave., will be coming back to Key West for five days, starting Feb. 2. On Feb. 4th, he will be dropping in at Tavern ‘N Town at Beachside Marriott, to celebrate his 50th birthday, and visit his good buddy, Bobby Nesbitt, who is entertaining in the Lounge that night! You are ALL welcome to also drop by to greet him and give him special birthday wishes that night….from 6 to 10:00 PM!!!! WATERFRONT PLAYHOUSE THANK YOU’S…..The Gala is over, but the wonderful memories of that special evening linger on! I want to thank Brenda & Warren Dedrick once more, for opening their hearts and home to all our beautiful guests….and very special thanks to all our hard working board-members, especially Bonnie Piceu, Diane May, and Terri Wilson, who worked tirelessly and with such joy to make it a roaring success. More than $1,100 was made for the benefit of the Waterfront Playhouse on 1/31. UPDATE ON PAT WEST……George Sanders informed me that Pat is going to be released from the hospital soon….a handicapped equipped apartment has been rented for her and Chip in NYC. She is in a wheelchair and must keep her right leg elevated at all times. Her leg suffered a triple break & has an erector-set metal cage contraption around it with screws, braces, and the like. Therapy will take a long time, and pain killers, which she hates taking, are a must to get her thru the painful therapy that lies ahead. The good news is that Pat has quit smoking entirely and claims she will never smoke again, a new outlook on longevity! She has great doctors in NY….This was a serious, near-fatal accident with a very lucky outcome for everyone involved. Keep Pat in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through the recovery process! We love you Pat!!!

TERRI WHITE IN FOLLIES…..After a fantastic run in NYC, the final curtain fell on FOLLIES at the Marquis Theatre on Jan. 22. Go to www.playbill.com to read the wonderful Jan. 23 review on that closing. To quote….among the extended ovations was one genuine stop-the-show, leap-to-your-feet experience. Following the mirror song, , “Who’s That Woman”…led by tireless & tap-happy TERRI WHITE as Stella Deams, the audience went wild!!!!!! Believe me, folks, Terri brought down the house every single night! This gal deserves a TONY!!!!!! We are so thrilled for Terri White and Donna Barnett! I get shivers just thinking about how fabulous a night that was for them! The best news is that Terri and Donna will be returning to Key West soon….In fact, Terri was just added to the Randy Roberts Tenn. WMS show, joining Brent Barrett, George Dvorsky, and Debbie Gravitt! That show will be a WOW!
