ONE WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE!!! GREGG McGRADY!….Key West lost one of its dearest souls on March 15….Gregg McGrady….who never met a stranger….who brought joy to so many….who didn’t sit on the sidelines and watch things happen… he made things happen! He passed away at age 51…..a shock for all of us who loved him and held him in high esteem! He will be missed more than words can say….My very heartfelt thoughts and prayers for John Nolte, Mandy Miles, Fizz Rettew, and all those, whose many hearts Gregg touched along the way!

**#11 WEEK OF AQUA IDOL, MARCH 22!!!…On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, the Aqua Idol for the Waterfront Playhouse will be honored along with the 3 runners up! Our remaining contestants are….BIG Drum roll, please!!!!!….. TREY FORSYTH …… BILL MELCHIOR …DESTINY MONTGOMERY …FIONA MOLLOY …NANCY ROUSE …AND NIKOLA CZERNYI!!!! Last week, we sadly had to say goodbye to Rock Solomon and Nina Newton, two bright shining stars. This week we will lose 2 contestants right at the start of the evening. THEN, the Top 4 remaining vocalists will go head to head singing two songs….one a song made famous by Madonna and one of their choosing. It is only what is earned by the singers that night, March 22, that will determine Numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4!!! Each will receive a wonderful prize package…This year it totals over $34,000 in cash and prizes. Guest celebrity judge at our Finale will be the always marvelous, HOWARD LIVINGSTON…and he will also entertain! And there will be other guest singers like former contestants, Kimberly Tomai, Denis Hyland, Al Romano, Alexis Larsen, and Bruce Moore!!! The Finale is Always a sensational and suspenseful night as the winners are announced!!! It is important that you vote for your fave contestant with dollars to keep them in the contest. If you cannot be there and want to support a vocalist, you can vote online, which is very easily done and explained below. Whatever amount is received online by 5pm on March 22 will be added to the container bucket at the end of the evening. Remember also, that all checks donated in the contestant’s buckets and marked Waterfront Playhouse and with the name of the contestant you are donating to on the memo line, are tax deductible. Our vocalists sing some great songs to Standing Room Only Audiences so do come early……. 711 Duval St. Laurie Thibaud is the terrific emcee.

Whether you can be physically there at Aqua Nightclub from week to week to hear your fave vocalists or not….we have made it very easy for you to vote for your favorite vocalist or to contribute to the Aqua Idol Prize Package… from week to week. This is how it is done…. Go to the Waterfront Playhouse website at www.waterfrontplayhouse.org. Go to Support and then hit Donate Online. You will see Donation Details….plus the name Aqua Idol Pirze Money…. Hit that, and the names of the remaining contestants will appear. Hit the name you are donating money toward, or donate $$$ for the prize package….and then fill out the options of credit card use from then on. It is very easy. All money donated to a contestant online by 5 pm on March 22 will be added to the container amount the vocalist earns that eve. This is NOT a cumulative competition, so this will be done for each remaining contestant on each Aqua Idol Tuesday.

THE ARIES PERSONALITY…MARCH 21 THROUGH APRIL 20

It is hard to ignore the Arien….they have so much personality and vitality, making them the sort of people who like to be noticed! They hate taking back seat in life and will do anything to prevent it! They are natural leaders, not followers. The last thing any Arien wants to do is carry out other people’s orders or be at their beck and call. They loathe being just one of the crowd, and this attitude doesn’t change as they get older. They have to be in control of situations and do not like it one bit when it is the other way around. Life is very black & white for Ariens, with no grey area. They are very idealistic, and always have high expectations that things will turn out well. They have a burning desire to achieve…have an infectious enthusiasm and an adventurous spirit. An Arien without a goal is a sad sight, as they are lost without anything to aim for. They are easy to lose their tempers but it is all over in a flash. One minute they may be shouting their heads off and the next they have forgotten all about it. They do have a problem with bluntness…they like to tell it like it is and this sometimes leads to hurt feelings when they go too far and do not realize the impact of their words. They are outspoken….and if they curb that it would take so much fun out of things! In love, they dream of fairytale romances…they love the thrill of the chase, often finding it the most exciting part of a relationship….often cooling off when they get what they want. Their generous spirit and warm personality make them wonderful friends and delightful lovers. Sex is very important to them and they enjoy a very physical relationship with their partners. They have the utmost faith and trust in people. They fall in love easily and invest everything in their lover. Their hearts are shattered when that partner fails to live up to their expectations. They have a tendency to put loved ones on a pedestal, thinking they can do no wrong. All is great while they are on that pedestal but the moment they turn out to be human, the Arien is crushed and let down and in lots of pain. However, Ariens do not learn from their mistakes and often repeat them over and over again! The best signs for an Aries are Capricorn, Gemini, and Scorpio. In careers, the Arien cannot be tied down as they are free spirits. They must have a job with room to breathe. They hate having a job which requires them to account for their every action. They will become bored and frustrated in these situations. They prefer being self-employed because most Ariens have a low opinion of their higher ups.
