ALL ALERTS BULLETIN! LOST CAMERA!!!… Yes folks…I lost my camera!!!! On the night of Dec.4 we went to see the Keys Chorale present a wonderful Holiday Concert at Tennessee Williams….afterward, we stopped in to see the group 3SUM perform at Lateda….they were terrific! Snapped a bunch of photos at both spots. When I got home I realized that somewhere along the way I lost my camera….which many of you know is often mistaken for part of my appendage. So far it hasn’t turned up anywhere….and it is not so much the camera, but the chip in the camera that has a bunch of photos I snapped at key events, that I still hadn’t downloaded. If anyone out there has found a camera in the vicinity between Catherine and Olivia Streets, please let me know at 305-295-0340. If you found the camera and want to keep it, please do, but if you can find it in your heart to just send me the chip to 330 Caroline St., Key West, FL 33040, I would be forever grateful. By now, it seems like a lost cause, but hey folks….it’s Christmastime…and I believe in miracles!!!

The Aqua Idol for the Fantasy Fest Kings and Queens is over….Now there will be no Aqua Idol until January 12, 2016 when the Waterfront Playhouse once again takes over and presents, arguably, one of the BEST shows in town! I am working hard at finding some fabulous vocalists….many new faces and others of our past faves…..So mark your calendars and plan to be there every Tuesday eve from 6:30 to 8 pm! Also, I want you all to know that our prize package last year was over $26,000 in cash and prizes for the Top 4…..and this year it promises to be even bigger…hopefully over $30,000!!!!! EXCITING NEWS FROM GAYLA MORGAN IN NYC….Our talented and dear friend Gayla has informed me that….KRISTEN MICHELLE has been cast in the ensemble in ‘ONCE UPON A MATTRESS’ off Broadway….Matt Castle, music director for Conch Republic the Musical and his hubby, Frank Galagano who directed Waterfront Playhouse’s production of A DOG STORY, have orchestrated the MATRESS revival. Annnd…. GAYLA is working backstage in this production, learning the ‘tricks of the trade’ (as he prepared to produce A DOG STORY, off Broadway)…Specifically she is serving as the ‘Dresser’ for one of the main stars, the famous drag queen/female impersonator, JOHN ‘LYPSINKA’ EPPERSON!!!! Note that there was a great article in this past Sunday’s New York Times, on this upcoming show and the star of it, Jackie Hoffman, whom we saw in the original shows XANADU and ON THE TOWN on Broadway. SAGITTARIUS PERSONALITY….NOVEMBER 23 TO DECEMBER 21
One of the great things about a Sag is their irrepressible optimism. They are convinced that everything will always work out for the best. This attitude has helped them through many a storm.
