“SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY” CONCERT AT LITTLE WHITE HOUSE ON JAN. 24…If you are lucky enough to have a ticket for this concert tonight, Jan. 24….you are lucky enough!!!! We went to this amazing concert at The Little White House on Monday, Jan. 23……It was sold out…it was a real gem! The show was so dear…so perfect…just like Bobby and Carmen…..it was like a special gift wrapped up and presented to you….something so very special you will cherish it forever! Bobby and Carmen gave bravura performances….it was a night to remember…..right here in the Truman Little White House! No doubt Harry and Bess were with us all tonight to relive the songs from their era. This concert, performed by the always classy, Bobby Nesbitt and Carmen Rodriguez will present this concert on Tues., Jan. 24.. The program, called, “Sentimental Journey” presents the wonderful songs from the Truman Era. It takes place in the Living Room and there are only 65 seats available each night. AQUA IDOL ON JAN. 24……Last week there was no elimination, as Quincy Perkins, had to drop out of the contest because of his starring role in RED at the Red Barn! He was an outstanding competitor and we all so enjoyed his outrageous performances! Still in the competition are James Mill, Connie Hurst, Mike Rolfsmeyer, and Cynthia ‘Syroco’ Mulcahey! Showtime is 6:30 pm….Randy Thompson is the Em-cee….and judges are Tony Konrath, Myself, and this week’s celebrity judge is Pam Lopez, the delightful wife of Commissioner Clayton Lopez! This Idol, benefitting The Waterfront Playhouse, ends its run on Feb, 7th. Let’s fill the house for these next few weeks! Great fun…super vocalists…all for a good cause!

DENIS HYLAND SHOW REVIEW……Denis lit up the Waterfront stage with a fabulously entertaining and delightful show called, ‘Dancin’ Man’…..he sang, he danced….he told great stories….he warmed the audience with his magnetic personality and sense of humor. We got to see bits and pieces of Denis’s prior life in NYC as a young student and dancer….The sold out crowd loved every minute! I vote that The Waterfront has a Denis show every year!!!!! Amen!

PHYLLIS CHAPELL SHOW…..This was another delightfully entertaining show at the TSKW….on Jan. 21…..a unique singer/songwriter accompanied by Skippo and the Dallas Boys! She sang in many languages and made each song her very own! What lucky folk we are to attract so much amazing talent to Key West!

We all know Randy R from Lateda Fame, but there is another Randy R, a published author of biographies, etc. This Randy R is currently working on a biography of four famous writers who lived in The Writer’s Compound on Windsor Lane….Ralph Ellison, John Hersey, Richard Wilbur, and John Ciardi. If anyone out there may have known any of these men or their families, even briefly, Randy R. would like to interview you.
