IT’S CHRISTMASTIME IN THE CITY!!!!!!

I AM VERY THANKFUL……For each of you who have reached out to me during this very beautiful, blessed, yet bittersweet time in my life. Thank you for your kind messages of love and support….for all the e-mails and notes…they mean so much. I am thankful that I had the chance to see my sister-in-law, Nancy Stevens in Ohio last weekend, and that we were able to share some very close moments of love and friendship….I am so thankful for her and the precious friend she has been to me for so many years. I am thankful for Bobby Nesbitt who has been a true friend to me, watching Purr-Lee, our cat, while we were away, and always being there for me. I am thankful to hear that Dr. Sharon Ward is recovering nicely from a recent brain aneurysm. (More on that below!) I am thankful to Jimmy Olson for the gorgeous orchid he brought over to me….and to Susie Savitch for dropping off a darling cheer-me-up surprise, and to Kate Miano & Ron for the special holiday presents you gave to me! I am thankful to everyone of the Aqua Idol contestants who are singing their hearts out for the benefit of the Waterfront Playhouse. I am thankful to Tom Oosterhoudt and Mary Ann Worth for their fabulous Christmas party at Casa Antigua last night. It was quite a superb event with just about everyone in town there…..In fact, the whole town was invited, so if you were not there, it was your loss! Thanks, Tom & Mary Ann! I am thankful for all the audience members who fill up Aqua Idol every week and have been so supportive! I am thankful to each of you who has sent us beautiful cards and messages. I love Christmas cards, and hearing from everyone….it is one of my fave traditions of the season…and I thank you so. God bless us everyone!

JEFF KUCIN ELIMINATED FROM AQUA IDOL….On,Tues., a full house was on hand to watch our great contestants perform Broadway & Christmas songs….Very sadly, we had to bid adieu to one of my fave vocalists, that very HOT Jeff Kucin! Our remaining contestants, Quincy Perkins, Mary Piszker, James Mill, Cynthia Mulcahey, Ruben Navarro, Denis Hyland, Connie Hurst, Mike Rolfsmeyer and Daniel Wiggins, did a super job last night and we raised nearly $1,000. The competition is definitely getting HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Tell all your friends to come to the BEST show in town….every Tuesday at 6:30 PM…..Next week, Dec. 27, our contestants will sing two songs. Aqua Idol with all tips going to benefit The Waterfront Playhouse! Randy Thompson is the Emcee, and joining Tony Konrath and me on Dec. 27, is Rosi Ware!!!!

UPDATE ON WILL STEPHENS…… Richard Stephens’s father, Will Stephens, is recovering from hip surgery. If you have the time, come and visit Dad in Room 111, late in the afternoon or in the early evening, as he is otherwise in physical therapy sessions. Thanks to all of you who will take the time to visit. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers….and if you want to make Dad happy, please send him a card at Key West Health & Rehab Center, 5860 College Rd., Stock Island, FL 33040…..or at 1424Von Phister St., KW, 33040. I am deeply thankful for dear Dad!
