SOUTHERNMOST CAR CLUB….
The Florida Keys Southernmost Car Club is celebrating Easter today with a “Basket Case” car show from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, at Duval Square, 1075 Duval St. Trophies will be awarded to the People’s Choice and Best Dressed Vehicles. To enter, you must bring an Easter Basket for the Samuel’s House domestic abuse shelter. There will be food and music from the 50’s and 60’s. For more info call 942-1758.
HURRICANE HOLE….
A benefit for the Marina’s Chef, Eric Catalano, who was recently in an accident, will be held at 4 PM today. at The Hurricane Hole Marina at 5130 US 1. There will be a Cornhole Tourney…entry fee is $25. and will include cheeseburgers and hot dogs, a silent auction, drink specials guest bartenders, and more. Call 294-8025 for more details.
LARRY HARVEY TURNS 89!!!
The wonderful and MOST adorable Key West Legend, LARRY HARVEY, will be celebrating his 89th Birthday at least two times this week, at two of his favorite haunts. Today, at 6:30 PM, a party for him, complete with Cherries Jubilee, will be held at KWEST on Duval St. Come one and all to this always delightful event! Also, PLEASE make a note, that on Wednesday, April 7th, another gala celebration will be held for LARRY at AQUA NIGHTCLUB, at 711 Duval St….There will be food and cake and Bobby Nesbitt at the Piano, and Larry will sing his heart out for you! When you turn 89, you can have a Birthday Celebration EVERY single day, 24/7 if that is your pleasure! We ALL love Larry…so DO try to make one of these very special Birthday Celebrations in his honor! ( And not to confuse you, but Larry Harvey’s actual birthday is on Tuesday, April 6th!!!!)

TERRI WHITE’S LAST NIGHT AT THE KEYS…
Broadway star, Terri White and her partner, jewelry designer, Donna Barnett, will be stopping by to say their farewells to everyone tonight…probably after 9 PM….They begin their drive back to New York City on Sunday…..Terri begins rehearsing for CHICAGO, the hit Broadway musical, on April 12th….the show opens on April 26th! She will have a BUSY April. She and Donna will be returning briefly to Key West, later in April, because Terri will be performing her One-woman Show at The Waterfront Playhouse on April 23rd. That should be quite a fantastic show…LOTS of amazing songs and surprises for all of you, lucky enough to have a ticket for this Event! If you have not gotten a ticket, call the Waterfront box office at 294-5015 and put your name on a waiting list. If there is anyone who has a ticket to this show, and will not be using it please let me or the box office know ASAP! This show will be sponsored by The KEYS Piano Bar, where Terri worked before being lured back to NYC and her great role in FINIAN’S RAINBOW at The St. James Theatre. Note that all you who travel to NYC for Broadway shows, etc…..Besides her role in CHICAGO, she will also be a featured singer at FEINSTEIN’S at Loews Regency Hotel on Park Avenue. Other entertainers there this month will be Alan Cummings, Jane Krakowski, Mitzi Gaynor and Linda Eder….Terri is in pretty impressive company, I would say! She will be at Feinstein’s on May 3rd and May 9th!

This show runs thru April 10th, only!
