HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL INDEPENDENCE DAY!….We have been settling in to life at Rose Cottage….. got our Cottage Garden all re-planted and it looks quite lovely! That is the good news… the bad news is that our hot water heater broke down and we have had to take cold showers all week…. Brrrrr….. while we wait for a needed part to repair the heater to arrive….. hoping it will be able to come together tomorrow…. I feel like a pioneer!

I am thankful that our niece Jennifer, her husband Peter and their children will soon be at their cottage a few doors down from us! I am thankful for Paul & Pam Vereb and their hospitality…..also the Duecker family for opening their home every year, to just about everyone in Chippewa Lake for their annual Independence Day Party!!!!!

TENNESSEE WILLIAMS EXHIBIT:…..Admission is FREE….Self-guided tours are available to locals and visitors at the Tennessee Williams Exhibit located at 513 Truman just off Duval. THE CANCER PERSONALITY…JUNE 22 THROUGH JULY 23

One of the first things people notice about Cancerians is their kindness, as they belong to one of the most caring and sensitive signs of the zodiac. This makes them very popular with anyone who likes to feel cherished. They are considerate, affectionate, and highly emotional. The typical Cancerian loves being at home, not only because it is cozy and comfy but because it is where they feel safest.
