What time of the day do you have your car shows on the 3rd Sunday of the month?

  7. April 29, 2014

I am a Car Buff (present ride is a 1951 Willy’s pick-up) from British Columbia, Canada. My wife and I are flying to Florida this fall for the Homestead NASCAR race…..and some family visits. We have a condo in Key West from Nov 15 to 22 so maybe I can make it to a meeting or even a “Show and Shine”.
I am also hoping to find some type of Bus tour deal from Key West to the race in Homestead but not sure where to start with that. We have done this type of thing to races in other cities and a found they are a great way to avoid traffic jams. Please let me know if you have any leads for this. Thanks.

I would like to attend your car show with my 1956 Mercury Montclair. Can you send me info about dates, locations, etc. I would be coming from Ft. Myers, Fl.
    Thanks, Al

Southernmost Car Club 360

Southern Most Car Club was formed in Key West 2004 by Curry Blackwell, Dick Moody, & Jim Trippino, and serves the lower Keys from Marathon to Key West.  Many of our members are snowbirds who every winter drag their cars down from as far away as Ohio, and Canada, to spend the cold northern winters in the sunshine of Florida Keys where they can continue to ride year around.    We hold a club meeting in Key West at Shanna Key Pub, the 3rd Tuesday of every month followed by a "Show n Shine" every 3rd Sunday at mm-17 (mile marker) at the Sugarloaf Key Lodge.  Everyone is welcome to drop by and view the beautiful cars or enter their car.    We are a family oriented club, for all years, makes, & models of cars, & women you are welcome bring your car on out and show it off, as we have a number of women who belong & come to shows. We have a great new sound system with a couple hundred great Oldies & Rock n Roll tunes you may remember from those younger days. We give away a People's Choice trophy each month, given to the car that receives the most votes by the people attending the show. We also try & have a 50/50 drawing, plus club hats and T-shirts for sale.    If you are interested in joining our club then stop by and see us, bring your car, or call or e-mail Dick Moody or John Delamater.  Club dues are just $25 a year and you get your first club hat free & the club will pay half on your club shirt should you want one. We also try to have instock T-shirts for $10 and hats for $15 at the shows.    So if YOU are a car buff, a car guy or gal, have that car now that you wanted when you were cruising in high school in that old Pinto or Vega and couldn't afford.  If you just love to look at cars that are clean, shinny, & old or new.  If you want to talk cars, or spin other tales of yore about that fast 409 you once had, or maybe you have nothing to do that Sunday, Then by all means stop by and pay us a visit and look at some nice cars and meet some great people.
