DEAR READERS…..We arrived here in October and enjoyed a sensational season of theater, cabarets, music, entertainment, galas, Aqua Idol, dinners out, movies… the list goes on and on! And now it is time to get packed and ready to leave our beloved home in Key West for our dear Rose Cottage at Chippewa Lake! It is always a bittersweet time…..I usually cry all the way to the turnpike, and then I try to put it all behind me and anticipate the always wonderful time we have when we are at the Lake! For all those who would like to stay in touch with us there, our address is 62 Bungalow Bay Blvd., Chippewa Lake, Ohio 44215. We love getting mail. I am going on hiatus with the blog until at least two weeks from now….maybe longer. I really do need to take a breather. I feel I have spent half my season here at the computer sending these missives your way. Hope you have enjoyed them and have taken full advantage of all the marvelous things Key West has to offer. KATHY MELENDY…..As I wrote last week, my friend, Kathy Melendy, passed away on May 24. There is a wonderful obituary in the June 2 edition of The KW Citizen. Kathy was quite an amazing woman as you will read. Many new items are on display, including memorabilia collected while the Exhibit was on loan to the Museo Nacional De Bellas Artes in Havana, Cuba…..Also on display is Williams’ 1932 Univ. of Mo.
