NOVEMBER 11 TO NOVEMBER 17 (ETC.), 2016 IN KEY WEST WITH LYNDA!!!!!

HAPPY NOV.11 BIRTHDAY TO…JIM SCHOLL …COLLEEN NEEDHAM … MARK SCIARELLO!!!

VETERAN’S DAY TODAY…NOV.11…This Parade is very special! It starts at 4 pm….. Marches down Duval St. It honors our Veterans….very moving.

STILL IN SHOCK…..I join with everyone else….Democrats, Republicans, and even Trump himself, who are totally shocked with the outcome of this presidential election. This is the first ever President elected who insulted and belittled just about every fragment of society….who bullied and lied continually….. and it just didn’t matter to his adoring peeps. It is a rude awakening of how fractured our country is…. And how our Reality TV mentality has taken over our minds. I pray for unity and for Trump to somehow reach out with apologies, something he hates to do….to the Latinos, the African-Americans, Women, People with Special Needs, Muslims, John McCain…Mexicans, people who are not perfect 10’s, etc…. He has a lot of fences to mend, in my opinion. I wonder…..When will the wall be built and by whom?…..How does he get rid of Obamacare in his first 100 days as he promised….what happens to people who are enrolled in it and will be without insurance? What happens to the millions of immigrants? Will he have trains pick them up and send them to camps? Or back to their countries? Who pays for this? What happens to the Republicans who totally turned their backs on Trump? Will they be forgiven? Fired? (He loves to say You’re fired! He has a reputation for not forgiving anyone who crosses him.) He doesn’t get mad…he gets even. Will Kellyann Conway be Secretary of State? Will Guiliani, Christie, Gingrich and others of his henchmen get on the Cabinet? Will he try to throw Hillary Clinton in jail as he avowed he would do to that ‘nasty woman’? Will he retrieve the large paintings of himself that he purchased with the money from his Foundation and hang them in the White House? Will he finally release his taxes? Will he admit that the election was rigged…. now that he won? Will he start having his clothing line made in factories in the USA instead of Mexico, China and Sri Lanka? Will he use American steel for his buildings or still import it from China? Will he finally pay the workman he fleeced? How will he deal with Trump University? That still looms over his head. Thousands of students are suing him. They paid $20,000 to $60,000 for courses that have been proved worthless. It will be interesting. What will be his negative nicknames for all the various Senators, Congressmen, etc.? Remember when we all thought it was funny when he labled Rubio, Little Marco, and Ben Carson a ‘child molester? Will we still laugh now that he is the President? Will he continue his early morning tweets of insults of just about anyone whom he may not like or agree with? Or will his staff throw his phone in the river? What will he do with the nuclear code? Will he start bombing hither in yon? Will he leave NATO? Will he be suing all the women who accused him of sexual assault as he said he would do after the election? These are things I heard loud and clear during the past 18 months spewing from Trump’s mouth. His many followers loved all that he said. But now that he is President, will he totally change his tune and be Mr. Nice Guy? Will the people who loved his vulgarity still like the new Nice Trump? It will all be very interesting. I wish I could have been a little mouse in the Oval office when Trump went to meet President Obama. Was the ‘birther’ accusation mentioned? Did he apologize to Obama…..did he say, “That was just business?” One thing I am sure of, Putin will be a regular visitor at the White House and will probably sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom. It will be a circus….and we only hope that some good things will come out of all of this. No matter what or how we feel, he was elected and we must accept it and move on. And maybe, like the miracle of him winning the election, he will miraculously be a good president! That is my hope! And God bless America! Amen and Hallelujah!

TAKE STOCK IN CHILDREN NEEDS VOLUNTEERS……Mentors are desperately needed for the 58 new students in this exceptional program. If this org does not have enough mentors, who work toward achieving the goal of a college education, students will have to be turned away. 25 new Mentors are needed to pair with incoming Take Stock Scholars. Mentors are not tutors or counselors. They are caring compassionate adults who volunteer their time to guide, support and encourage, our students. They are given a chance of obtaining a scholarship that pays for four years of college, tuition and fees. If you are able to volunteer, please call Chuck Licis at 305-293-1546 or email him at chuck.licis@keysschools.com.

BRUCE MOORE NEWS…..After four days of enjoying the Fantasy Fest Revelry in Key West, Bruce Moore is back in Gettysburg, continuing with his bi-weekly chemo ritual. Do keep in touch with him…he has a long road ahead of him….I believe he will be doing chemo till the end of March. Prayers are requested.

PRAYER CHAIN…..Please continue to remember the following in your thoughts and prayers…Bruce Moore….Sherrey Welch……Walter Lepperd……….Howard & Inez Casey …..Mary Lou Hoover…Bill Lodermeir…Lenny Stevens …..Melissa Lang…Robin Deck …George Kling …Eric Weinberger … Rennetta Stevens…. Richard and Betty Carraway …David Herndon …Lottie Domski …Anne McKee … Ron Burns …..Teresa Lawson … Zita DuPel ….Mike M…..Joy …. Tony Martinez …Chris Warner .…Brian Martinez and family …. Bocdow. …Dee Dee Duecker … Karla Muir … Vincent Gregory …Tony Freese… Alan Ferguson … Jennifer O’Lear …Margaret Taylor … Roland Ryper …Patrick Richards. Remember, there are many reasons that we pray…not just because people are ill…. I do believe that when we all send prayers and good vibes to those in need, those prayers mystically meet and surround those being prayed for. Sometimes we pray for miracles and the impossible….sometimes we pray to just cope with the results of what happens to those we are praying for. Sometimes we pray for strength to go on and to accept…sometimes we pray for thanksgiving. We are in this thing called ‘Life’ together….and we all have power within us to help our fellow man. Bless you for remembering our loved ones….Prayer changes things! Let me know if you know of anyone who should be added to this list.

*** THE SCORPIO PERSONALITY…OCTOBER 23 THROUGH NOVEMBER 22 ***

I am starting this by saying that some of my best friends are Scorpios….as well as my very best friend, my dear husband Bob! They are an amazing group….terrific company and possess a fantastic sense of humor. That being said, Scorpios view life in a very emotional and intense way….and they find it very difficult to express profound feelings that they have. Scorpios keep their deep feelings buried under the surface. They have an innate need for privacy and secrecy making them reluctant to let people know how they feel. This sign is often viewed as being obsessive and it is true that a Scorpio takes things quite seriously. They are happiest when they are able to concentrate their energies in particular directions, because they need to feel emotionally involved in everything they do. Otherwise life loses its meaning and purpose. Once a Scorpio has made up their mind about something, it is very hard to persuade them to change it. They often have fixed ideas about all sorts of things and can take a very hard line over such topics as capital punishment and imprisonment. Despite a Scorpio’s natural loyalty, if you push them too far or double cross them in some way, they will never forget it and they will never forgive you. They will probably give you the cold shoulder to exact their revenge. It is wise not to get on the wrong side of a Scorpio! A Scorpio’s magnetic charm and powerful personality attract many fans. People love the fact that ‘still waters run deep’….and when a Scorpio is silent, everyone wonders what they are thinking and go to great lengths to find out. They know there is lots more going on under the surface than the Scorpio will reveal.

Love is an area that can cause problems for Scorpios as they take it so seriously. There is nothing superficial about members of this sign, and as a result they need relationships that are deep and satisfying. One night stand and brief flirtations quickly lose their charm…the Scorpio is looking for something more significant than that, and when they find it they will channel all their energies into it. They do demand a great deal from their partner, with love and loyalty at the top of the list. One big Scorpio problem is jealousy and another is possessiveness. If a Scorpio has been hurt in the past, it can be very hard for him to resolve these issues. Sex and Scorpio go together like bread and butter. They place such great importance on sex because it is such a good way for them to express their feelings. The best signs for a Scorpio are Taurus, Cancer, Virgo another Scorpio and Leo.

What a Scorpio does for a living must have meaning and purpose, needing to feel emotionally involved in their career. Otherwise they will feel unhappy and dissatisfied. They must believe their work is meaningful…nothing demeaning or boring for them! They will pour all their energies into their work wanting to do something that provides endless interest and stimulation.

Scorpios also love to know what’s going on…so they are the eyes and ears enjoying sharing the latest gossip and intrigue. It is important for them to get on well with their colleagues and that they work in a comfortable atmosphere. They need positions of power, even though it may be minor…..the thought that everyone else has control but them is devastating! Scorpios are attracted to law, science, detective work, medicine, research and the like. They also get great satisfaction from working in the wine trade…especially if they can attend lots of wine tastings. Scorpios need more money than most…as financial security is very important to them….they also enjoy the power that comes with money. Living comfortably is of utmost important to the
Scorpio…..In their hearts they know they should have been born with a silver spoon in their mouth…. And if they were not to the manor born, they will do everything in their power to achieve that status symbol. Investing and accumulating are important to the Scorpio…they are canny investors and love playing the stock market.

WE LOVE OUR MARVELOUS SCORPIO FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS!!!!!
