**MINI REVIEW OF THE FAREWELL ROAST FOR DEPARTING DANNY WEATHERS ….ON MAY 7… This was quite a wonderful evening! A sell-out crowd was on hand to celebrate Danny Weathers at a Farewell Roast held in his honor! It was a wonderful evening planned and orchestrated by Vicki Roush, who did a magnificent job. Roasters were Jeff Johnson, David Black, Trish Manley, Laurie Breakwell, Carmen Rodriguez, Joy Hawkins, Gordon Ross, Michael Boyer, Annie Miners, Christopher Peterson, Bobby Nesbitt, and Me, Lynda Frechette! I was honored indeed, to be a part of this evening that Danny said was ‘The Best Night of His Life.!’ The event took place a Lateda, starting with a sit down dinner and then the Show. There was lots of laughter…shared memories….. gentle roasting….. and many tears….It was one of those special Key West evenings that all who were there will remember always and evermore. If you aren’t able to pay for an entire day, any food, financial support or help with food prep would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes we pray for miracles and the impossible….sometimes we pray to just cope with the results of what happens to those we are praying for. Sometimes we pray for strength to go on and to accept…sometimes we pray for thanksgiving. We are in this thing called ‘Life’ together….and we all have power within us to help our fellow man. Bless you for remembering our loved ones….Prayer changes things! Let me know if you know of anyone who should be added to this list.

 *** THE TAURUS PERSONALITY….APRIL 21 THROUGH MAY 21 ***

People know they can trust a Taurus, for they are reliable, faithful, practical, and people to turn to in a crisis. They can be counted on! Although they are steadfast, they are also very resistant to the idea of change. It makes them feel nervous…as if everything is going to collapse around them! Taureans always take a long time to get used to any major alterations in their life, and they they can feel dislocated by change. As a result, they tend to slip into routines that quickly become ruts, as they would rather know what each day will bring, even though it is boring or tedious…than risk getting upset when their regular schedule is disturbed.

Taureans take things slow….preferring to do things in their own time and in their own way, and often turn a deaf ear to anyone who may try to persuade them otherwise. They have tremendous determination and will power but this can turn into that stubborn streak that Taureans are famous for. Nothing will change their mind; people can go blue in the face trying to reason with them, but they just won’t listen!

Taureans do need their sense of self-worth and they associate their possessions as status symbols. The problem with this, is that they often become hemmed in by their possessions as they start to rule their lives. Letting go and simplifying is not an easy task for a Taurean!

The Taurus is the one least likely to lose their temper over trifles. They grit their teeth and give others the benefit of the doubt over and over again…until things go TOO far, and then they blow their top! This is a frightening experience for everyone around when this happens….so look out!

Family means the world to a Taurean and they devote lots of time to their nearest and dearest. They enjoy keeping up long standing traditions especially at the holidays. They are loyal, loving and steadfast, which endears them to anyone who likes to know that their affection won’t be tossed away. They make adoring friends and they usually have a select circle of very close friends that they have know for a long time rather than a wide range of acquaintances. It takes a Taurean quite some time to get to know people properly and others have to earn a Taurean’s trust…but once they’ve done that, the Taurean becomes the sort of pal who will stand by them through thick and thin. This love and affection sometimes turns into a tendency to be possessive however. The best signs for a Taurus are Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

In careers, the Taurean loves to work and are good solid members of any team…they get the job done. They may not do it very quickly as others but they keep at it and don’t cut corners. They are not interested in self-employment, but if they do decide to work for themselves they will try their hardest to make a go of it. They are attracted to work in finance, banking, and investments. Also, the beauty industry appeals to them as they are one of the best looking signs of the Zodiac, They make great models, masseurs, perfumiers. They love professions connected with nature, farming, gardening or floristry. Because many are blessed with lovely voices, they are drawn to the music industry and singing, particularly.

*** THE GEMINI PERSONALITY….MAY 22 THROUGH JUNE 21 ***

This is one of the liveliest, most vibrant signs of the zodiac. Geminis are mercurial, bright and terrific company. Better yet…they never seem to age. When they are older than dirt, they still look years younger than they really are. They also have a very youthful attitude….love keeping up with the latest trends and their insatiable curiosity keeps them interesting at all times! Geminis love the whole tech revolution as it opened up a whole new area of communicating. They are in heaven with all the new do dads on the net, cell phone apps, etc. Geminis love to keep in touch with people….e-mail and facebook had the Gemini in mind when they were invented. Geminis love to chat…whether online or just to a neighbor….or someone standing in the checkout line at the market…the Geminis is always ready to talk! They love a bit of gossip….and adore being ‘first with the latest news’. Geminis are very eloquent…born communicators….and they find it easy to express ideas. They do have a low boredom threshold and find it hard to concentrate on one thing for a long time unless they are completely enraptured by it.

Versatility is a Gemini’s middle name….as they can easily tackle most things. The Gemini’s emotions can dip up and down dramatically, and there are days when he may not want to talk to a soul…..but mostly there are the other days when they have to be physically yanked off the phone.

Geminis have a tendency to change their opinions often. Their ideas fluctuate according to the circumstances and the time of day. It is what makes a Gemini such an interesting person to have around. In love, Geminis are happiest dealing with ideas and not emotions, as they find it hard to express their feelings. They feel swamped by a partner who is very emotional….it embarrasses them, and this usually great communicator, can become tongue-tied. They can describe their emotions in an intelligent way, but it is another story when it comes to experiencing and living their feelings. Those who wear their hearts on their sleeves make a Gemini wince. There are big problems if a Gemini is in a relationship with a clinging vine….they are apt to do a disappearing act. A Gemini’s popularity is so high that people adore their sunny nature, their ready laugh and their fascinating conversation. A typical Gemini knows a little about an awful lot. They look for partners who are on the same intellectual level as they are…they are drawn to those who make them think. No matter how attractive someone might be physically, a Gemini won’t stay with them for long if they are boring, not bright, or do not have a sense of humor. The best signs for a Gemini are Libra, Leo, Aries and Gemini!!!

Geminis are ideal for any job in the media, communications industry, advertising and sales. They need to be in a job that keeps them busy with many variations…and if travel is involved, all the better. Self-employment is also attractive to them. As far as money is concerned, with a Gemini, it’s ‘now you see it…now you don’t.’ Geminis love to wheel and deal….they have such a great sales pitch, they could probably sell fish to penguins. They are excellent negotiators. They love impulse shopping and that can often get them in trouble! We love our Gemini Friends and Family Members!!!
