This group of 14 marvelous vocalists includes HEATHER MAE POTTER….BILL MELCHIOR…GINA SALERNO … VICKY HEDBERG…BOB WOOD… …LARRY BLACKBURN … SARAH DORRANCE …ARTHUR CROCKER …MELODY LYNN …RHETT KALMAN ….DESTINY MONTGOMERY … & JERRY DOWNS !!!! … They are singing their great big hearts out for the benefit of THE WATERFRONT PLAYHOUSE …every Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at Aqua Nightclub at 711 Duval St. This Tuesday, the theme of the evening is Complicated Love, Break up songs, and the like …..It promises to be a really HOT-HOT-HOT evening! If you want a good seat, make sure you get there early enough to claim one! This is every Tuesday until March 21…..PLEASE be There! You will not want to miss a single one! Tony Konrath and I will be weekly judges and our guest judge this week will be the fabulous DAVE BOOTLE, entertainer extraordinaire at LATEDA!!! An added bonus is Broadway legend, TERRI WHITE, who will be a guest singer again. She brings down the house whenever she does a guest spot and I asked her to do a guest song whenever she wants to!!!! All this gloriousness is FREE to attend….happy hour drink prices … amazing entertainment…..loads of fun while raising money for a great cause, THE WATERFRONT PLAYHOUSE!!!!! Come and see & hear what everyone is talking about in Key West!!!! We nearly lost Rhett Kalman last week, but the judges opted to utilize our one ‘save’…. If you want your fave to stay in the contest, it is important that you be there and you vote with $$$$… and if you can’t be there vote online!!! Read below to see you you can donate to your fave contestant online!!!

VOTING ON LINE FOR AQUA IDOL….. For those who cannot attend Aqua Idol on a certain night, or you prefer to vote using a credit card option you can donate online. It’s easy as pie. If you go to https://www.waterfrontplayhouse.org/donate-online/ , you will get to the site right away. You can also go to the www.waterfrontplayhouse.org website and then follow these steps. You will see the the word SUPPORT. Click on Support….Then, just below that will be DONATE ONLINE….Click that….You will then see a long box with the words Waterfront Playhouse. At the end of the box is an arrow. Click on the arrow. All the names of the contestants will pop up. Then you click on the name of whom you are donating to. Fill in Waterfront Playhouse below that. Then all your credit card info will appear and you fill out accordingly, step by step. You can donate toward any of these contestants until 5:30 on Tuesday, the day of the competition…this week, Feb. 7. Whatever is donated will be added to the ‘bucket total’ raised that night by a particular singer. For instance, if Vicky had $20 donated on line, and she raised $100 singing on Tuesday, she raised $120 total. Next week, it starts all over. You can also send checks made out to The Waterfront Playhouse. Put the name of your chosen contestant on the memo line. Then you can send the check to Att: Gary Symons, Waterfront Playhouse, PO Box 724 Key West, FL 33041. Or you can send your checks, made out to the Waterfront Playhouse, to your contestant of choice, and they can handle it the way they want to.

AQUA IDOL PRIZE PACKAGE…CAN YOU HELP??? …I am in the process of assembling the Prize Package to be presented to the Top 3 Contestants on the final night, March 21. I love these singers who are going all out to raise badly needed dollars for the Waterfront Playhouse. I in turn try to get the best package for them. Some people have asked if they can help contribute and I say ‘but of course!’ How can you help? If you have unused nice items that you can donate…artwork, jewelry, gift certificates to shops and restaurants, services that you can provide, overnight stays at hotels and inns…or if you want to donate cool hard cash, I would greatly appreciate it. All donations are tax deductible and you will be sent a form for tax purposes and for your records. For those who want to donate cash, you can make checks payable to The Waterfront Playhouse and write Aqua Idol Prize Package on the memo line and send to Gary Symons, ATT: Aqua Idol… PO Box 724, Key West, FL 33041. If you have items to pick up, let me know and I will arrange a pick up. BIG THANKS!

Sometimes we pray for miracles and the impossible….sometimes we pray to just cope with the results of what happens to those we are praying for. Sometimes we pray for strength to go on and to accept…sometimes we pray for thanksgiving. We are in this thing called ‘Life’ together….and we all have power within us to help our fellow man. Bless you for remembering our loved ones….Prayer changes things! Let me know if you know of anyone who should be added to this list.

*** THE AQUARIUS PERSONALITY…JAN. 20 THRU FEB. 19 ***

Aquarians are totally different from every other sign….something sets them apart from everyone else. The typical Aquarian approaches life from a very different perspective to most people. Each Aquarian is completely original and innovative. For a start, they are totally independent. They follow the beat of a different drum and need to go their own way through life. Those who try to stop them or hold them back will soon discover how useless this policy is. If anything, it will make the Aquarian even more determined to do their own thing…and if no one else likes it, tough! Once an Aquarian has made up their mind about something, you will go blue in the face trying to persuade them to change it….they simply are not interested. This single-minded determination operates in every area of their life. However, they are very hard to predict…so even if you think you know how an Aquarian will react to something, they’ll probably take you by complete surprise and do the very opposite. This is all part of the fun of knowing an Aquarian. The present is much more of interest to an Aquarian than the past. They focus on the here and now rather than get caught up in what happened a week last Wednesday. An Aquarian is light years ahead of others in their thinking. As a result, they can seem like an iconoclast, possibly even a threat, because they have revolutionary theories or go against the tide of popular ideas. They are extremely intelligent and very rational…they do not take an emotional approach to life.

This is the friendliest sign of the Zodiac….they need a lot of friends…and to know they are around….though they are really only intimate with a very select group. When it comes to love, they need to choose a lover who is also a friend. It is hard for an Aquarian to love someone if they do not like them too. Their partner must be intelligent and a good conversationalist. An Aquarian must also need a partner who respects their need for independence. They hate when someone keeps tabs on them and needs to know their every move. They do not want to be joined at the hip with anyone. They need the freedom to come and go as they like. However, they do not want to give their partner the same freedom that they want for themselves! The best signs for an Aquarian is Libra or Sagittarius…possibly an Aries and a Gemini too.

In careers an Aquarian does not want to be stuck in a dead end job. They are attracted to charity and humanitarian work. Being self-employed appeals to Aquarians, as they thrive on being their own boss. They do not think anyone knows more than they do. They do not like taking orders from anyone they feel is inferior to them. And that’s the name of that tune!

We love our Aquarian Friends and Family Members!!!
