CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW KING AND QUEEN OF FANTASY FEST!!!! …The Coronation Ball last Friday at the Casa Marina was a first class affair….beautiful setting, elegant and delish sit down dinner…..wonderful entertainment all night long….and culminating with the announcement that our four candidates running for King & Queen raised over $360,000 for the benefit of AIDS Help! It was the second highest amount ever raised…amazing!!!! We congratulate our new King Christopher Rounds and Queen Jane Rohrschneider….and Duke Tommy Ryan and Duchess Kristen Livengood. Look for them all week, as they will be appearing at most of the events…plus they will serve as the Grand Marshals of Fantasy Fest and will lead the parade on Saturday, Oct.29…..It will be a marvelous evening!!!! Thanks to Christopher, Jane, Tommy and Kristen for everything!!!
SICK BAY…..Good friend Terri White, she of Broadway fame….and who brought down the house singing at the Coronation Ball….has been in the hospital with dehydration and anemia…..lots of tests being taken….getting the care she needs and the latest from Donna Barnett,; ‘Terri is getting stronger, looks and feels better, has received blood and appropriate fluids.’……All good news! You can send Terri cards at her home at 1203 Johnson St. She is also welcoming visits…though call the hospital before visiting to find out whether she is still there. I visited her in room 309. Also, Terri and Donna cannot say enough about the great care Terri is receiving!!!! Get well soon, Terri…cannot wait to hear you singing again!!!!

TENNESSEE WILLIAMS EXHIBIT:…..Admission is FREE….Self-guided tours are available to locals and visitors at the Tennessee Williams Exhibit located at 513 Truman just off Duval. Many new items are on display, including memorabilia collected while the Exhibit was on loan to the Museo Nacional De Bellas Artes in Havana, Cuba…..Also on display is Williams’ 1932 Univ. of Mo. Yearbook, Savitar, in which one of his early poems is given a full page. Videos provide info about the life & work of the iconic author who made KW home for 34 years. I am starting this by saying that some of my best friends are Scorpios….as well as my very best friend, my dear husband Bob! They are an amazing group….terrific company and possess a fantastic sense of humor.
