DEAR READERS….Left Ohio on Oct. 10 and we are happy to say, we arrived at our wonderful Key West Home last eve, Oct. 12!!!! Here only an hour, the car still packed to the gills, we headed to LaTeDa to attend one of the Fantasy Fest Fundraisers! What joy it is to have seen great friends, the Beatties, the Russ’s, Kristen Ryan, the Stashenkos’, the Elwells, Donna & Terri and so many more….thankful to be welcomed back so warmly …We were royally entertained by Trey Forsyth, JB McLendon, Mark Watson, Jodyrae Campbell, Joe Tripp, and Terri White…..And so the fun begins!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ELWELL FAMILY!!!! The American Red Cross has announced that the Florence Spottswood 2017 Humanitarian of the Year …..will be the wonderful ELWELL Family !!!! BRUCE MOORE NEWS…..Many of you already know that my good friend, Bruce Moore is facing a health challenge. He has been diagnosed with Stage Four Hopkins Lymphoma. He began his first treatment of chemo this past Tuesday at Johns Hopkins Hospital….a major health facility in the world. All went well and he is keeping a great attitude and is positive and upbeat. He is welcoming your love and support at this time and he is grateful to all who have sent him emails, messages on Facebook, cards, texts, etc. If you would like to mail him a card, please send it to him at 35 W. Floats are workbench size, 18” in height, depth and length. They move along the mock Duval Street created by Rick Worth on a conveyor belt. They can be made in any media whatsoever…. TENNESSEE WILLIAMS EXHIBIT:…..Admission is FREE….Self-guided tours are available to locals and visitors at the Tennessee Williams Exhibit located at 513 Truman just off Duval. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm…Mon.-Sat. Many new items are on display, including memorabilia collected while the Exhibit was on loan to the Museo Nacional De Bellas Artes in Havana, Cuba…..Also on display is Williams’ 1932 Univ. of Mo. Yearbook, Savitar, in which one of his early poems is given a full page. Videos provide info about the life & work of the iconic author who made KW home for 34 years.
